OMG those Ghost adventures guys :O I was interested in them at first because they started their show in my home state of Nevada. We have tons of real ghost towns here so I guess they figured they had real ghost or something. I was quickly disappointed when most of their show consisted of "OMG OMG OMG! Shh Shh Shh Dude Dude Dude Shh Shh Shh Did you hear that $*^% #(%^ @&*( Shh Shh Shh!" I simply could not get over my laughing. I could not take them seriously, let alone hear ANYTHING with all...

I don't even think that Grant coming back would bring me back to the show. I loved the show in the beginning because they helped people understand that most things people experience in their homes are not paranormal. When they stopped doing people's homes to help them and just kept doing "already known haunted places" that really made me mistrust them. Everything had to be really clear and obvious in their early seasons. Later - every bump or squeak was a "ghost"! I know you all love them but...

I don't see why anyone has to bash this. It doesn't hurt you, does it? Hardly anyone even reads the wrappers before opening and eating the candy, let alone take time to read the scriptures on the back if they don't want to. What if this was rainbow wrapper with "=" sign on it? Would you still say the same thing? If you hate those that hate or do not understand what you like, are you not the same? Be a haunter :) not a hater.

I did take pics and video and need to upload them :) I am very grateful I did that along the way and as soon as we were finished.

I do have some hard hats from the previous mine theme :P Unfortunately, my Husband helping me (meaning doing all of the construction work) has taken a toll on his studies and he has been doing poorly on his finals so I cannot ask him to ruin his chance at passing his past 3 classes before his BS degree :( There is too much work for one person to do with the repairing and resetting - especially with another wind storm days away :( Then more rain is in the forecast, too :( Without a top on the...

Well - the Haunted House is DESTROYED! Darn 70 MPH gusts and constant 25 - 45 MPH winds for 24 hrs can do that :( It is beyond repair for this year. We'll still decorate the yard and give out candy but I am just so depressed and shocked by it all. All our hard work, time and money - wasted :( We'll have to try to create a more "wind friendly" design for next year.

I only give out what I am willing to eat the extras of. Chocolate and chewy sour things. Sometimes I get mini chips or mini popcorn, too. I found that since I cannot afford to buy the candy AT Halloween time, I buy the 12 packs from Wal-Mart for $1.78, a few every week. If I do that I can have 288 pieces of fun-size candy bars in 2 months. I just store them in a dark closet (out of site, out of my mouth :P ) and in Oct I open the bags into the ToT tub I have and make sure I have enough. I...

I watched the Halloween one before I think. (OMG there so many pt on around HW I can't even recall) It was cool except they found the nuttiest, craziest people who think about Halloween before their kids and their kids are scarred and crap. I was truly offended by that show. If this is a different show I hope it does not go that way :(

Looks great! I can't wait for my two new trees to grow up so they can be Halloween trees like your is. Ever since I first saw someone hanging pumpkins from their tree here I have always wanted to do it myself. Unfortunately for 3 years we were stuck with the original trees, which were some poor silver pine trees that someone had topped at 4 feet and tried to make into bushes. If you are not familiar with silver pines they have VERY sharp needles and every time I tried to decorate them I got...

Oh My God! RCIAG, I am glad nothing was ruined! Maybe next time I'll "pre-crush" the box so USPS will think someone has already abused it for them ... Glad you like the Mummy and the gummies and all the other goodies. :P

I love to help our food bank because I get a lot of help from them myself. As for incentives, I am pretty much tapped on funds, though it is a great idea. I love the flyer ideas. I am actually going to have the haunt open on the 30th with a "no-scare or low scare" so I can get more little ones to see that we are not as bad as they think. I mean some people won't even come inside the haunt in the middle of the day when it's just plain walls for crying out loud :(
