I'm doing okay, been keeping busy. This last week our entire state has been cleaning up after tropical storm Irene, our area got hit very hard and it took out numerous roads and bridges, quite a mess. This summer hasn't been easy, don't know as you had heard but I lost my brother to cancer on July 4th. I miss him an awful lot but at least he isn't suffering any more. Not sure what my hubby and I will be doing for Halloween this year, I have thought of a few things I would like to build but will see how the time goes. Glad to hear you are doing fine, some one of these days if I ever get to KY I'd still like to meet you. Had a chance to meet Tumblindice this past June while in NY, really nice guy and he does quite a haunt at his place. Getting late and I need to head off to dreamland, ttyl.
I have been pretty good, not as much building this year but I am hanging in there. How the heck are you?

Hi Erin! Unfortunately my brother has cancer, his lung cancer is in stage four and we recently found out that it has travelled to his shoulder and now down into the knee. Needless to say this past year has been very hard. Not sure how we would pull off Halloween 2010, between my Dad and brother going through treatments and also puling off a 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents. Guess maybe I'm stronger than I realize! Hope all is well, take care!
I am so glad your dad is cancer free, ,but now your brother too? I am wishing your family nothing but good and wonderful things. I will be praying for you and your family. You need more then springtime, You need a good dose of Halloween
I'm doing okay, been real busy with family stuff. My Dad finished his chemo therapy back on the 30th of December. It was a long and very hard six months on him and for all of us. His last PET scan came back cancer free, we were all very relieved to hear that news. My brother has stage four lung cancer and recently found out it is into the bone, he has lost alot of weight and is in so much pain. Hoping to get for a visit this week hopefully, our weather has been crappy this last week. We are definitely ready for Spring here!
