Shear Terror is the perfect description! I am sure that I will be desperately working right up to the last second before the doors are opened. We are hooking up with the theater next door to the hotel to have a midnight screening of Zombieland, and Night of the Living Dead. I am just starting on the props, caskets, a crypt for the DJ, and a 200 foot continious graveyard image for the wallpaper on the walls. I am stumped for activities though, I am considering a haunted maze, but I don't want to do it, and have it be lame. It would have to be "Killer". I have no idea what to do....
I'm excited along with bouts of shear terror. I got a bit behind in the prop-making but I'm cresting the hill. Hopefully.... So, how are you doing? On time or digging from out of the grave?
Hey Terra, Just Popping int say Hi, Are you getting excited yet? I hope this year is the best, I think it will help being on Sat night, yay!!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy New Year!
Yep, 23 years on the north side, No, not a cubs fan. Lol. I loved it in the summer, but the winter was just too brutal. It must have been tough moving away from Florida, but then the summers are brutal there too. I plopped down in Tennessee where there seems to be a pretty comfortable medium. But the economy and the people here... Some are wonderful, some are just out of a really bad movie. But I have always loved the mountains, and the scenery. I hope to build a garden someday. I guess I just have to decorate something. Its like a sickness sometimes. Lol. You be good, I am so glad you gave me a friend invite. Take Care E PS, My real name is Eddie, i haven't read the book or seen the Twilight movie, If I get a chance I will but I just wanted to be Edward, and some of my friends used to call me Edward Scissorhand sometimes, so....
Oh, so you are a Chicago native too. I grew up on the South side until I was an adult and could move to warmer climes (Florida) but then I ended back in the Midwest...Go figure (Hubby's fault!). Looking forward to those pictures.
Hey Terra, The Bristol Ren Faire is my fav! I do everything in my power to go at least once a year. I used to go every week it was open, and I had dreams of participating, but I am a work-a-holic, well no, I just have a lot of responsability and I hate letting people down. If I were rich, I would set up camp there. "Terror of the cul de sac" That is so cool. Cool Avitar BTW, thanks for the welcome, I will put up some of my ren faire pics someday soon I hope. And if I can find them, some of my Halloween decorating pics. I used to do my house in Chicago up petty good, but then I would have to sit at the sidewalk because the little ones were too afraid to go to my door. That is why I really love Halloween. The little kids all dressed up and having fun...
