With my kids (and adults under 55) we played the following music to get them up and dancing: Electric Slide, Cupid Slide, Casper Slide, Macarena, Cha Cha Slide 1, Cha Cha Slide 2, and they all liked to dance to them in a group. Women also loved "Put a Ring On It" ("All the single ladies"" it's also called, as well as the Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling"). The men/boys were all pitiful at the slides! lol
