Biography:

I have been in love with Halloween my entire life.

My first Halloween memory dates back to when I was about three or four. I remember being so young and yet feeling that everything was somehow different on Halloween. People and places that were previously familiar had overnight become surprising and unexpected.

The notion that, at Halloween, everything had the ability to transform into something else, something magical and mysterious and maybe even a bit dangerous, completely captivated me.

Given that, I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Halloween. I simply cannot square my own experience of Halloween with the current predominant themes of shock, blood and gore. I strive to keep the magic in Halloween, the sense of mystery and awe combined with a bit of danger and suspense.
