WOW! I've thought about doing something like that, but have nowhere to store the panels. It will be a small miracle if the door I made survives storage to make another appearance this year. lol How did you attach the panels? I just used 3M fastener tabs to secure the door panel, then peeled them off the door after Halloween. I wouldn't even know where to begin securing something on that scale! Here is the door panel Grave Grabbers referred to. It was a quick, last minute build to hide our...

It's just blue foam board, which is super light, but did cause our door to creak, which was fine with me lol. I attached it with 3M fastener (AKA super velcro) and just peeled the tabs off the door after Halloween. Got lucky and didn't damage the paint lol. Here are the details on that project... https://www.facebook.com/pg/yardhaunt/photos/?tab=album&album_id=323095241379073

The thought has occurred to me that this could also be used as a means of just hiding the motor and using a much longer string having the spider moving somewhere else. Hmmmmmm...

Here's the deal. I always try to credit whoever I got the idea from. I'm not gonna backtrack and fact check every damn video I see to make sure I credit the original maker. I've had several of my ideas copied over and over without ever having credit given and never mentioned it because I'm not in it for recognition. I'm here to share ideas and enjoy making cool stuff. If you want to credit me for an idea, awesome, if not, also fine. There are much better ways to go about noting who created the...

Kindy's has always been sold out every time I checked there. You buying them all? I try and pick up deer at yard sales for a few bucks, then yank the motors and toss the rest. Microwave turntables use the same type of motor, but it's only the motor itself without the plastic housing to shelter it from the elements. They are great if you need a smaller motor to fit in a tight place.

If you lived near me I would be all over this to help you build an alien nest corridor. Huge fan of the xenomorphs!

Oh hell, then make it a section of alien nest! Just put a bunch of pipes and boxes on the walls, paint them a dirty metallic color, then corpse over everything with black plastic tablecloths melted with a heat gun. Throw in a couple of sparking panel boxes, maybe a yellow rotating warning light on the ceiling. You could even build up some weird biomechanical structures with your corpsing. Make it look like a ventilation shaft that is being used as the entrance to the hive/nest. Lots of work,...

Faces would be awesome, as would a cave or crevasse. Or add a laser vortex even. You didn't mention your overall theme or where this hall leads to. Would be helpful information. I do like the high wind idea, I don't think I've ever heard of someone doing that.
