hey lady! That potion punch is around $10... don't remember exactly. But it comes with 2 pouches of mix. I got the fruit punch; I think there is another flavor available (maybe orange). You mix one pouch with 2 quarts ginger ale or club soda (?). So, I'm assuming it makes 1 gallon total. But, the cauldron only holds 2 quarts at a time. Not a lot, but I thought the kids would like the fizz factor. Since I am the unofficial room-mom of my kiddo's class (nobody else wanted to do it. And I don't even have a kid in the class... unless you count the teacher as my kid.lol), I have to come up with something H'weeny. lol I made some stuff for craft projects for the class. i.e. foam boards for them to paint something scary on, makings for spider eggs, and some tombstones they can paint epitahs on. Plus, I bought some skelly finger molds at Michaels where you melt the white chocolate then insert pretzels. And I got the skelley molds for the top of brownies. I think there is a pic in my albums somewhere. oops... here it is.
Having a H'ween party is illegal at the school, so I can't do too much. But, the principal does 'look the other way' alot.
In a couple of weeks, I need to get started on some Thanksgiving crafts and a T'giving party. Every year, the kiddo has had a T'giving feast in the class. It's pretty awesome. We cook up a couple of turkeys the night before the party (she warms them up in the cafeteria), everyone brings a dish and the class & their parents have a feast.
Now, you'd better get it in gear woman!! LOL I want to see pics soon!!!

hey lady!! Got most of my stuff up in the yard. yay! Going to work on some more today.

Saw that Walmart is putting their Christmas lights out; looked for some green ones, but didn't see any. I'm pretty sure they had some last year. Maybe they'll have some out before H'ween.

Hey lady! hope you had a great weekend. I went to Walgreens this morning to look for your green lights. They didn't have any left... sorry. All they had were the purple ones and the multi- colored ones. Have you tried Hobby Lobby? They have their Christmas out; don't they normally have green- only strings of lights?
Been super busy with kiddo and trying to fix tombstones.. Tombstones are driving me insane. lol

hey lady!! I saw that candy site that you posted. It was pretty awesome. I may use that.
I haven't mastered outdoor lighting yet. I usually use Blue or White flood lights. This year I'm going to get lower watt floodlights. And I bought some blacklight LED's that I'm going to try. I bought them at Gardenridge; that may show off your webs pretty good if they're white.

Hey lady! You get to put your H'ween inside the house? I am sooo jealous!! LOL

I don't think I'll hit the stores looking for H'ween, again, until after Labor Day. It's going to kill me to wait that long. lol But it seems like the ones that do have H'ween out, don't have that much. So, I will patiently wait. And I'm still waiting for my fav thrift store to put out their H'ween. I know they have tons of it... I can see it on the back room shelves!!! A couple of the other thrift stores let me back into their 'secret' rooms and look around, but not my fav one. grrrr...

I started my tombstones re-do this morning. It was beautiful outside earlier. It'll take a month to finish them all. But, I'm not really going to work on anything else anyway. I'm pretty much done for this year.

When does your son go back to school? My daughter doesn't go back til after labor Day. They are in a brand new school, so they still have to set things up. She has to have surgery next week; she tore a tendon in her ankle a few years ago and the doctors finally figured out what was wrong. lol
