OMG those Ghost adventures guys :O I was interested in them at first because they started their show in my home state of Nevada. We have tons of real ghost towns here so I guess they figured they had real ghost or something. I was quickly disappointed when most of their show consisted of "OMG OMG OMG! Shh Shh Shh Dude Dude Dude Shh Shh Shh Did you hear that $*^% #(%^ @&*( Shh Shh Shh!" I simply could not get over my laughing. I could not take them seriously, let alone hear ANYTHING with all...

Here is the basic shape of the torso cut from a single piece of material. I would advise making it a little larger and the trimming it down as you install it. I made mine a little shorter because this is an animated prop. With a static Figure you can just make it a little longer.

You know how it is, through out the year, you find, buy or make new props for your haunt but some of us have limited floor space, so you have to make a tough call, do you replace some of your veteran props with the rookies? I find myself in this dilemma, I'm one that feels that I just can't send anyone to the bench, I feel like it's a wasted opportunity if I don't use my whole team. Lol, I know I am using football talk but it's the season, so are any of you in the same situation, what is the...

Good observation Deadna, if those snippets are telling then something is up with Dina because on the previews for next week she is saying something about being in the finale but in a chocked up way, like holding back tears, it could mean it could go either way for her...Really enjoyed the monster spotlight challenge, was surprised George was dismissed but not surprised Dina and Cig made it, those two have been my favorites since day one, I think Dina takes it but won't be mad if Cig wins it,...

We've given out fun sized bars for the past several years. On sale they run two bags for $5.00. Kit Kats will have 21 in a bag. I bought ten bags a few days ago giving me 210 bars, costing me $25.00, which was all I had on me at the time. The forecast looks good, which means we'll likely have 600-700 TOTs, so we'll buy at least 20 more bags. Each kid gets one bar, but we also have a walk through haunt so the candy for many of them is just fluff. They want to go through the haunt!

9 days off starting Sunday. I normally take two weeks off but with it falling on a Friday, having the week of off gives me ample time to get everything done, then torn down/packed away afterwards.

Hopefully we can find why you aren't getting a lot of sand residue using Drylok. Before use it's thoroughly stirred to get the silica distributed top to bottom in the can. I do not thin it all. It is applied with a 1 1/2 angled brush and I make sure that the final brush strokes are always downward so you start to see the grain of the sand start to develop. The first coat will give you an essence of the stone-look but it's imperative that two coats are applied. The second coat's silica starts...

Thanks. I actually bought them for another prop and they just weren't a good match. I happened to have this head that I robbed from a grave grabber I built several years ago and they turned out to work well together. The hands are from Ghost Ride Productions.

I've seen several people recently asking about how to "flesh" out their bodies. I decided to build another swaying zombie for our yard since I had a head and hands laying in the shop and I thought I'd show off some quick and easy ways I like to use for filling them out. It's pretty easy and inexpensive. Being our zombie has straight legs, the pool noodles are fine if the pants lay against them since you just want them to have a little shape. These pool noodles are made by www.swimways.com....

Oh Shadowbat I'm so very sorry to hear that sad sad news. I completely understand your not feeling in a festive mood. For most of us with pets, we love them as much as we love other members of our family, because in fact they truly are members of our family! There will be many Halloweens for you and your wife to celebrate, so take the time you guys need to mourn the loss of your sweet friends.

Funny! It's got it's first skin of foamboard on it and now I will bulk it out. Then, carve it into shape. I decided that doing the Styrofoam way would make it lighter and more similar to shaping a tombstone for me. Hope it works out. It's taken a lot of foam so far. I hope to get a picture up of the progress today.
