Thanks! Looking forward to what we'll come up with. Ya never know! We've actually discussed doing a "pro" haunt in the area at some point. Maybe when we no longer do our home haunts and can devote the time/resources to it. As lewlew said, not downsizing, just "intensifying"! Actually using less space, and just packing a whole lot into it. I'm thinking we may do this type of thing for a couple years before I actually scale way back but I'm excited to be doing this. It's going to be...

If you are looking to add a little more flexibility to our body frames, you can add 2 additional Spider Joints at the ankles. We sold a lot of kits that way at the MHC show. The ankles were very popular. We will likely have it offered as a kit at some point. :) If you need any help with dimensions, there are basic plans on our site as well. Will at least help give you a jump start regardless of how you build your body. http://www.spiderhillpropworks.com/Halloween-Prop-Plans_ep_41-1.html ...

'ya know, I was half-thinking of getting one because I don't own her anymore. Once I get the Inflatable Hell Horse it would be a complete (recreated) set. LOL! Here's the picture I think they used: But they didn't include my improvements on her in '12:

Maybe you somewhat copied your design from others, Terra, but YOU made it famous. Or infamous---whatever.........:)

I got extra grip on my pulleys by just putting some household rubber bands around the groove. Use the tan color flat ones--the wider, the better!

Wow, your story is SCARY! I think I would quit the walk-through haunt for one year, maybe just decorating the yard. Also put up a sign explaining why you had to stop, using the same wording as your original post. Then see what kind of comments you get and maybe try the haunt again the next year.

Laughed when I saw this. It's so tiny - just 20" tall. Back when I made my version I had somewhat followed Haunted Webby's tutorial. Did a little research and I'm thinking that Castle Blood was the very first one to do the bride draping over design on the stone. Do notice that the lady itself looks a lot like my version of the girl. Must have seen a picture ;)

They obviously copied the idea off of here! Was it Terra that made the first one. She should have copyrighted it!

I'm not buying them from ebay I just spotted them there. Believe me I price everything out before I buy them. I don't have time to scan the threads to make sure what people are posting. Just thought I would share. If there is a problem with me posting these then I will quit posting.

Every so often there will be a thread that mentions how fun it would be if we lived in the same neighborhood and all decorated to the hilt. I have the pleasure of living not far from two other haunter friends (and forum members); lewlew from Roads End Cemetery, and Motel Sixx who does an awesome walkthrough yard haunt not much more than a mile from me. We've all visited each other's haunts and have collaborated on various projects over the years. Road's End is taking a break for a short time...

I like this a lot. Creepy even in the daylight but will be pretty foreboding in the dark with dim light coming through the slats. I'd like to see pics of it decorated and lit. Nice job!

Lots of potential! I'm trying to guess where you plan to hand out candy from. I agree that using the car port as a scene would be great. Maybe use that as your candy area. Enclose it with black tarps and use blacklight for a ghostly scene or make it a witch shack. The lawn space with the tree would be a nice cemetery. The TOT's have to walk up the drive past the graveyard towards the car port, whch is going to get them nervous to begin with. Can't tell how big the yard is but you have time to...

A mostly clear, cool night with temps in the mid 50's to low 60's. Light breeze, enough to drop some of the leaves off the trees but not so much as to blow the fog all over. Some big wispy clouds that partially obscure the full moon. The TOT's would arrive on time and we would be ready with the haunt set up, jack o lanterns lit, sound and lights all working to perfection. After two hours of TOT, we would hang around outside for another hour, taking it all in and enjoying the evening. The big,...

Thanks all :) :) :) It was a hoot to see. As I've said before, this isn't my original creation. I just took what Castle Blood did, somewhat followed the tutorial on the web and did my own take on it. But, certainly see the resemblance to the girl I made. Was looking at the dimensions of this and it's pretty tiny. Thinking in a graveyard might look a little weird and missing the whole point of it. The point was that the bride lost her Beloved and her grief was so intense she died keeping her...

Yes - it's not illegal and you are right that it was because we had a bigger haunt. I was initially checking with him to see if we were covered in case of a lawsuit and he specifically said to not serve homemade foods (also don't advertise). The insurance wouldn't cover if someone became ill.

Funny! It's got it's first skin of foamboard on it and now I will bulk it out. Then, carve it into shape. I decided that doing the Styrofoam way would make it lighter and more similar to shaping a tombstone for me. Hope it works out. It's taken a lot of foam so far. I hope to get a picture up of the progress today.
