Hola Mr. Smee. Just more of the same ol same old here. Wow aren't I inspirational? Lol. I've been pulling a P5 and trying to get all my perennial beds and pots of annuals back in shape. I got sort of a late start this year. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair did and then I need to make a track up to my daughters old apartment. We need to have her bedroom vacated by the end of the month, then we have a bit longer before we have to get the rest cleared out. Then I really want to tackle closets,...

:)He definitely is! Robert is one of the best people I have ever met, and so ultra talented as well. (did I mention humble?) (jk) And Hilda's Halloween Tree has always made me smile. There is something about those twinkling lights and those smiling pumpkin faces.:D

:)Cool directional signs. Had you thought of making them skewed more, like angled and kind of crazily pitched?;)

:)^Well....I kind of have to use what is handy...and making a 25 foot tree isn't in my skill set. (ha, ha) I may actually carve a foam base to fit over the existing tree to give it more character. I could probably come up with something so that it would have a bigger trunk with some interesting things going on there. Maybe holes and craters for glowing LED eyes looking out....what do you think? I have the foam pumpkins, I just have to carve a few faces and rig up the lights to go inside of...

:)Thank you Saki, Bobzilla and CemeteryGirl!:D I love your idea CG about bringing some of the characters from the book into the scene. That is brilliant! Not sure about the ghosts, because the front porch is mighty ghostie as it is, but what if I made trick or treaters standing at the base of the tree listening to the skeleton tell the story? I may not be able to get them all made for this year, but it's definitely something that could be added to through the years. A flying Moundshroud would...

:jol:Hey Peeps! I'm starting on my 2016 yard haunt and I have a few new ideas for this year. First off, I am going to pay homage to Ray Bradbury and make my own version of his Halloween Tree. I've talked with my good friend Bobzilla and he and I have bounced some ideas around. I have a surprise that I will reveal a little later, (thanks to Robert) but for now suffice it to say, I'm going to do Mr. Bradbury proud.:D I am borrowing from one of the forum members, Hilda, and her rendition of The...

I went to their site and saw that it's mixed with water. Can you color it? How did you apply it. I'm interested in trying this as I've only used DryLok in the past. Thanks.

spookydave your right I seen the demon with the pitchfork on ebay for that much the person who try selling it is a member on this forum. So, they know someone wants those props bad. 2200 is way, way, too much they were 200 so they want 11 times what is worth? I had that demon before he is not worth 2200 though the witch I never seen in person but she is basically the same as the devil same pose too just as a witch.

Wondering what everyone's "philosophy" is on Halloween purchases. Do you pretty much keep everything you buy/make and just amass a huge collection of stuff? Do you periodically thin things out and sell what you don't want or no longer use? Do you buy things with the thought of resale in the back of your mind? As we've changed themes over the past few years, we have bought or made things to go with the particular theme. Things like masks, costumes and props that aren't going to be used again are...

:) The only haunter I know that has one of those is Copchick, but she is on another forum. I've always liked that prop. If I see or hear of one for sale, I will definitely let you know. I will even contact Copchick and see if she knows of any more of those out there.:D

:)Yes, (thank you) I wrote the poem and designed the layout, then I printed it on transparency film and projected it onto the board. I then traced the words onto the painted board and then hand painted each and every letter... That took a bit of time, but I was really pleased with the outcome.

:) I really appreciate you looking for the coffin. I know all about "hot attic" storage, so I understand if it takes awhile. I have something in mind for the coffin and it has to be that specific coffin because I need that exact look. I've seen some others that are made of foam as well, but they don't look like this one.:D

I am a Panthers fan, obviously, but they aren't playing well. The half time show was pathetic....it's sad that it hit me wrong.... Good luck to you guys with the downsize. Sometimes smaller is better....and good luck to you guys with Spiderhill...it is one of my "Go-to's"
