Thank you everyone! I wasn't there for the conversation, I was helping my FIL to the car and my fiance filled me in as we drove back to the house. I started to cry and it just made me so happy and I wanted to share. I think it's a good idea to give the workers at the pharmacy a small tour. I usually wait until Halloween to bring all the decorations out but I was thinking of doing a test run to see what needs modified and might invite them over then. I'll take pictures if that happens.

I'm lucky enough to live in a Haunted Attraction rich area. Most places charge between 20 and 30 dollars per person. I think the only exception is the local amusement park but they have 10 haunts and a few of them are spectacular. I only warn people away from one haunt and that's because I feel they charge too much money for too little action. I also used to work for them and even as an actor I felt they charged too much. The walk through was only 20 minutes and cost over 20 bucks! No thanks!

I went trick-or-treating until I was 17. I dressed up every year and it was fun! I started to take my nephew when I was 18. I still dressed up and while I didn't ask for candy some people still gave it to me for dressing up. I don't live close enough to take my nephew out anymore but we get TOTs so I dress up and pass out candy. I usually give it to the adults taking kids out, too. Halloween is for everyone.

They look like a small class from a school or possibly a day care center. Our house is down the street from a large elementary school and dozens of kids walk by every day. My wife's cousin is a kindergarden teachr at said school and brings her class by my house once a year to see the decorations. We've had kids stop in the morning or on the way home and ask us if we'll be doing the "scary house" again this year. It's heart warming! lol!

:)I couldn't resist and I put my FCG, Lily up last night. I still think I am the only one in my neighborhood with decorations out. I did get my ghost grid put together, and I will be hanging ghosts this weekend. The madness continues.....Muhahahahahahahaaaa....

Hi Printersdevil! Thank you for the kind visitor message. I'm not sure how to reply so I thought I'd live you one as well. We're chugging along right with a good mix between mundane chores and Halloween chores. I'm looking forward to sending out my Secret Reaper gift. It's my first time participating and I want to spoil them! Glad to hear you're having a great time with your giftee. Witch sisters!

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but, I have a groundbreaker I bought from Spirit a couple years ago. I used it for the first time last year and it was completely lost in the mix. You can't see it at all. Any ideas on how to dress it up or make it stand out a little more? Should I just put a tiny spot on it? I bought it on clearance so I'm totally cool customizing it.

I feel so far behind. I was hoping to have my spider webs up already. We can't find the number to our lawn lady. The county is getting upset about "excessive" overgrowth and we might have to hire someone to do a one time job. One of our neighbors is storing (with permission) their non-working car in our driveway. They keep promising to get it towed and it's still there. I'm worried I might need to incorporate this car into my display assuming the bushes don't eat it first. I'm still working on...

Seems a lot of Halloween related things are going on. A LOT of commercial haunts had opening nights this past weekend. Starting to see home Halloween decorations popping up. Ironically the retail side is already winding down with Halloween being marked down or condensed to make room for Christmas stuff at some stores. These next 5 weeks will pass quickly but it's the best time of the year!

It might be an unpopular opinion but I see nothing wrong with GMOs. We have corn because of genetic engineering! I give out both candy and non food treats to every kid.

I did notice that Target had a small section of "healthy" treats that were all labeled GMO free. I personally care more about the sugar content of foods for my own diet but I also think that it's ok to indulge every once in awhile.

Wait, it attaches to a vacuum? That's super cool. I thought if I ever went the webcasting gun route I'd have to hook it up to an air compressor.
