Ah, you are right at the scary part that I was at too. Yes, my finished Boogedy is darker in the final shots. That is because of that final wash you do. Before the final wash, everything is kind of stark and little too bright. But, when you wash everything down with that final wash everything gets toned down nicely. This project is actually a leap of faith. I had to do it..so must you
Ok, thank you. I kind of did that with the first dry brush. But looking at yours, it looks like it is more darker in spots(like the head), so I was worried. I thought I should have stopped in spot, but maybe I am heading in the right direction after all. Just got worried. Thanks Terra. Had talked to scott when I got him and he suggested talking to you for anything that needed to be painted. So you come highly recommended for painting. At the time he was watching his 1 year old, and she was(lets say) having too much fun while he was watching her.
Oh! No, that's not a stupid question at all. The first dry-brushing I do all the way but skip the eye sockets and pelvis. The next lighter layer...same thing. But, when I get to the raw sienna...I skip hitting the corpsing and focus on exposed bone. This helps make the corpsing have different tones then the bones.
