As I see it as cut the umbrella in half or thirds so it would like the photo then tweak it to look like you see a mermaids tails to look like.To cut the "spokes" use a dremel tool or hack saw maybe lineman's pliers.I guess I can't post photo's here so I'll put the drawing's on forum.
