Once again thanks for the link and your interest. The fireplace in the link is pretty much what I had in mind so will serve as good inspiration. And just so you know I haven't been totally slacking here are some bottles and jars I've modified and filled. The small drawer and large green bottle were recent Goodwill finds. Though it doesn't show the tall green one has a hollow glass stopper.
Good thinking leaving a plan B! Sometimes that works out for the best anyway:)

Here's a couple of easy fireplace ideas(from Pinterest) made from cardboard.
Since you are doing one side of the porch voodoo/swamp (if I read correctly), a nice compliment to that, and easy enough to do, would be corn stalks and pumpkins, but in a creepy, pumpkinrot sort of style. Low lighting.

One of our weaker scenes last year was the Frankie setup. It was just kind of thrown together at the 11th hour by some of the actors and friends.
As you can see not much going on and some weird non compatible things like electric zapper lights and flaming braziers( if that's the word).
I'm standing in the hallway to take the picture and I'm actually separated from Egore by a 3 foot high 6 inch think block wall. This will be the counter where patrons will be "serviced" . Because the hallways...
