I found the rotting ralph stake it looks similar to your ground breaker here is one I found ebay the look the same. I think this one has a stake.

I'm in a city (that is what they call it). Which looks like the "burbs" to me. Not large yards but big enough for a front, back and side yard. population 19K.
I have the house on the corner so I have a little extra yard on the side.
