I found this site in 2008 in November AFTER Halloween. I was blown away and became addicted to it. I love love love it! So many ideas and people are very friendly on here. I had my first party last year but I am more into doing my yard. Do you have any pics of halloween years past?

No there isnt anyt other way to live. How long have you loved Halloween? Do you have a yard display or just a party?

Answers to your questions:
Glowing Eyes on Tree
Simple Battery operated eyes that light up...wal-mart or walgreens (can't remember)
For me the best stuff, are just simple props. It's how & where you place them that makes them great.

Glowing Pumpkins
Just the regular ones you can get a Target Wal-mart, etc. The glowing looking ones were purchased at Wal-mart the first year I did my Halloween Haunt. (5 years ago?) They were made from a nice plastic material, it allowed the light from within to illuminate, so it gave off a nice glow. Every year since the material the pumpkins are made out of changes...cheap foam rubber, etc. and it does'nt allow the light to come through. Anyway, if I had known this, I would have bought more that year, because I like them too. Unfortunately, I have not found any made like this since. Know too, that the way I expose the picture with the camera helps give the light it's best look (No flash).

And the evil looking pumpkins near the potted plant, from Wal-mart...they are black with neon colored paint inside. Because they are black, in the dark you don't see the outline of the pumpkin just the intense glowing face.

Hi, nice to see another kitty lover in the forum. It's mainly due to the lack of choice, a lot of the products we have here are cheesy and cheap looking. Plus some people have a negative attitude towards Halloween. The UK doesn't get into it as much as the U.S does.
