Twas the night of thanksgiving,
but i just couldn't sleep.
I tried counting backwards,
i tried counting sheep.

The leftovers beckoned -
the dark meat and white,
but i fought the temptation
with all of my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation,
the thought of a snack became infatuation.
So, i raced to the kitchen, flung open the door,
and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.
Gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.

I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
'til all of a sudden, i rose off the ground.
I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky,
with a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.
But, i managed to yell as i soared past the trees....

may your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes 'n gravy have nary a lump.

Mama is doing good. Still looking for a job, that's the only downer. Tanner is 7 months now and a total hoot. Crawling and pulling himself up. Mama's so proud!

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. John & I would very much like to see you & Marge again. We plan on doing the 61 run, I know you will be crazy busy but I'll come and say hi anyway.

Hey Thanks! I missed your birthday! I'm sorry. Hope you had a good one! I didn't do much, met with a girlfriend for lunch and met the parents for dinner.

I miss visiting as well. It's all about baby these days! lol We did manage to go on the MD bike run. Good time, but sloooowww going in the beginning.

Been doing anything halloween? I long too, but the project would have to be a really quick one, and nothing like that comes to mind.
