  1. I haven't made any of the scissor extenders, so I am not sure how difficult it can be. From my understanding though, they are the most difficult ones to build. So far, I have built pop up's\coffin jumpers, four bar lifter and automated drop panel.

    Thanks for getting back to me. As a firefighter I can completely understand liabilities. However, if you want to make some money building these things and are worried about it just draw up a simple hold harmless agreement or liability waiver.....just a thought.

    I have to purchase these this year due to the fact I don't have welding equipment, drill press, grinder and other such equipment.

    So if you can talk your wife into it I'm interested in the following.

    How difficult would it be to make the DC Scissor Extender by http://www.dcprops.com/

    $800 seems pretty steep to me.
