I think the biggest low effort impact on staging your house for a party is removing all the normal decorations that don't fit with the theme, or creep-i-fying them. Lots of photos of the family? Change them out to creepy black and white antiques, or print out and add witch hats, vamp fangs, googly eyes, or spider webbing. Got some sports memorabilia or other stuff out there? Remove it and hang old picture frames, mirrors, or blackened canvases (can usually find some decent sized fancy...

Hi and welcome! :) If you're speaking of the "great stuff" type foaming insulation that lots of us use for props, then yes it can be used to create some pretty simple yet grossly effective guts. But do read up on how to handle the stuff, because it is MESSY and can stick to your skin, hair and will ruin any clothes you're wearing. Recommend making sure to lay down a tarp or cardboard in the area, using gloves (I use latex gloves so I can work with it better sometimes) and very old crummy...

Very nice looking pirate and creepy zombie cowboy! :D My husband has a full beard and also wears glasses (and hates contacts), so we've adapted several ideas for him: Mad Scientist (just need crazy hair, lab coat and some science-y props) Pirate like you've already done

Maybe check out the adult onesie pajamas? Like this: Or this in the pink cheetah print (as it looks funky and might match up in an interesting way with the googly eyes): I'd add some sort of ears to the hoodie and maybe...

It is an ad for another online community that uses similar colors and overall look to Halloween Forum and we're not sure they can confirm the info in the ad itself. It has been brought to Vertical Scope's attention.

09-22-2016, 09:31 AM was affiliated with this forum at some point for it to have been included in our main header link, so not sure who the third party could be or when this change happened? If it's not part of the forum, I'd suggest taking the link out of the headers on the pages. I'm pretty sure if a radio site is still wanted in the links, that (not com) might be a viable alternative (no idea who owns that one either, but at least they're playing Halloween songs).

Oh Hooray that everything got there in one piece! :D So glad you liked it all and tickled about how y'all loved the drawings on the box. I had a blast putting things together and LOVED that I got a fellow Frankie fan as my victim.

Props to Codec101 for locating: Looks like members should be going to the Settings link at the top, then look for the "Edit Profile" selection on the left, and scroll down to locate the two questions regarding the links showing for you and for others to turn them off. :)

These are SEO keyword marketing links. It is pretty common on sites now, and while it can be a bit jarring at times, at least they do offer the option to opt out here (which is very much appreciated).

There might be a way to stop this. Go to the "My Profile" link at the top right of the page. Click on the "About Me" tab. You should see your basic information like date of birth, hobbies... and at the bottom of this list is "Insurance" and then two other little yellow pencils without any text next to them. Click the first one and you get two radio buttons - No and Yes and the question: Relevant keywords are linked to targeted products. When you mouse over the link, additional...

Dear Victim, IT IS ON THE TRUCK... COMING TO YOUR TOWN... OUT FOR NO GOOD (and delivery). :D If you live in a town just barely outside of a large-ish city metro, but far enough out to have it's own name on your address label... this MIGHT be your day of REAPING-ENING. And no, that isn't a real word. :D Confusingly yours, ~FG

Yikes. I have no idea. Sounds like an awful mess. Is Facebook aware they're causing issues with other sites' logins? :( I would hope that anyone that is still having issues, can locate this thread and maybe have a notice on HF's Facebook page about how there are issues and to contact you directly if they can't log in?

Yes. They're not supposed to be French. They are supposed to be English speaking Halloween songs. Some stuff that is Halloween specific, some stuff that was "mainstream" but with a Halloween vibe - like "Pet Semetery" by the Ramones, or "Bela Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus... But stuff like "This is Halloween" from the NIghtmare Before Christmas soundtrack or "Monster Mash" by Bobby (Boris) Pickett and The Crypt-Kickers is a given. :D Something has messed up the entire channel.

Frankie's Girl replied to a thread Static: Can you dye hair? in Halloween Props
I think it looks fine that way... wouldn't bother me. Faded out, it looks like a creepy old abandoned clown head... that still has life when Halloween nears. :) That wig hair is likely plastic/nylon and was colored in the manufacturing process - the plastic/nylon itself is extruded from colored material. But since it is made out of plastic basically it won't take traditional hair dyes (they are penetrating color so dyes just slide off the outside of the fake hair shaft). You'd have to use...

I had that happen a few years ago (victim never posted about the reap - just a quick post that they got it. I'd worked so hard on making things and finding things I thought they'd like. :( ) I do hope the missing posters show up and at least say they received their boxes. It really sucks not knowing for sure it made it into their hands or was swiped off their front porch.

Shifting this over to the for sale by merchants section since this is a for profit type thing with a sales website/links. Please review the section rules on selling or advertising on Halloween Forum here. /Mod hat - your daughter is very talented! :)

I'm sure your dad would have gotten a real kick out of it. (and you can link to a vid on here by using the film strip icon on the upper right of the text editing box where you input the text. Can link from YouTube or any of the other sites, just can't put direct vids on here from your computer)

I tweeted to AskTarget about the fact that they have the Ouija board serving tray unavailable for order online, and there isn't one in stores in the entire Houston/SE Texas area... and they told me to keep checking so there's hope for me (and anyone else looking and not able to find).

I use folding garden fencing purchased from Home Depot (and got the storage box too so it all folds up into a compact square in the offseason). You can use pliers to open up the "hinge" parts to shorten or lengthen the fence runs. VERY easy setup and take down and storage. They also stake into the ground, so they stand on their own. I made custom fence posts out of cardboard/paint/foam and paper maché JoLs for my graveyard, and have round cardboard shipping tubes topped with clown balls and...

O.M.G. I've been reaped. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D Kenneth - this is mind-blowingly awesome! I swear I was making squeal sounds that only dogs could hear at one point as we took each item out of the box. I am so, so happy. You just made my Halloween! Everything arrived in perfect condition and nothing was broken. And I was literally standing in my front entry when the postal delivery came - great timing. Full red-checkered clown costume, blue polkadot hat, orange neck ruffle, red bowtie,...
