You are not alone. There are some places here in the USA that also frown on it. When we moved to Memphis, Tennessee there some very religious communities. The first Halloween we were there, I put out all our stuff and some neighbors did not like it. They were the ones with "no trick or treaters" signs. However, some neighbors loved it and had apparently never seen anyone decorate before. They got together and built their own displays so at least after we moved I knew the tradition would be carried on! I'm with you , I would live in a castle anytime! How cool would that be!
Carmilla, saw your post on the "new members", welcome back. Is Halloween popular in UK? I visited London about 3 years ago and enjoyed the trip. Great pictures in your album, very creative!
