This is sooo helpful! Thanks so much for the details. I am always worried about these sorts of garage adaptations since we get some pretty rowdy TOTers . Consequently, we have never done a hallway walk-thru haunt in our garage, sticking to the front yard scene and a small haunted path through our wooded backyard. Only problem has been the times when Mother Nature put a damper on the experience. But with a garage haunt set-up, voila! Weather woes solved!

Your fantastic details really give me peace of mind that it could work. Terra does an amazing garage haunt using landscape fabric to make her wall panels - but I still fear the little monsters would pull mine to shreds - soooo, your luan board walls and expert bracing give me hope. I'll enjoy pics later this year.

Where have I been? Living under a rock I suppose - for who in the world could NOT be completely inspired by your fantastic haunt and haunt design for both 2010 and 2011!!
Just read your thread on the "Granny" plans too and think it will be superb.
STILL - how can you top last year's haunt?? Really enjoy seeing behind the scenes too and focusing on how you managed to adapt your garage. The technical side is always a challenge and you nailed it! Literally!
So - my question - how do you "anchor" the heavy walls panels to stabilize in the event a group goes through and bumps against the walls?
