  1. This is a loaded question. I have a lot, and I mean, a lot of accessories that can run on batteries. I try to take advantage of that since I don't need as many wires and plugs. Looks cleaner and I can put them anywhere. I break up my village into different areas of the house or I would certainly blow circuits. I use any power surge protector that I can find for computers or electrical equipment in case something goes wrong so I don't start any fires. I'm terrible at giving out electrical advice though. I always end up asking my brother about that kind of stuff. If I haven't mentioned this in a post you've seen, an excellent site for these kinds of questions is the website for villaging I belong to.

I wish I got a commission for recommending them (but it's free and they don't pay me anything)
there's a weird question they ask to join - something about the first year Spookytown was released. I believe the answer is 2002.
That site is full of electronics wizards, and village nuts. I've learned a lot from them and they are always willling to help. Plus they have some awesome pictures of other villagers displays that make me drool! Let me know if that answer works for the site.
  2. Just curious, your halloween village, how many outlet plugs do you take up and what do you use? Thanks ... Bob ...
