I have had The Count since 2003. I first used him lying in a casket and later used him in my living room. I removed the red cape on mine and like it better without it:

We have done a big and involved yard haunt for the last 15 years, but with our kids all grown and gone with families of their own, my husband and I have been struggling the last couple of years with the massive amount of work involved. Also, my hubby isn't into Halloween the way I am, so ultimately I wound up doing the planning, building, setting up and taking down alone. Two years ago we agreed we would have a blow-out haunt and from then on we would scale back. So, we created a full scale...

Like I said in the thread, I really have to sell my bikes first. I know a bit about engines, but I worry about the endless search for parts. Right now, I have a contact down in California with a running 1952 Caddy, I just need to come up with $4,000. I know I can get at least that much from my bikes, but I don't know if I can do it before he gets another offer.

So, a running classic hearse from the 1940s or early 50s for around $4K-$5K would be perfect. I know that'a asking a whole lot, but that's my "dream purchase".

If you could talk to your friend at Reindeer Manor, that would be great. I'm not opposed to going to Texas for a hearse. Especially if it's the right hearse at the right price! What I'm really hoping for is a classic hearse/ambulance from the 1940s.
