Happy Halloween!!!!

I used Velcro (thanks to WyattFurr) on my boards for the windows, instead of fishing line. And they are holding up wonderfully!! But it's stuck on a vinyl window frame. don't know if the velcro would work on stucco. Have had some people ask if the velcro would work on brick, but I honestly don't know. The velcro was $17. for 20 feet at Walmart. It's pretty heavy duty; it's black & in the craft dept.
good luck!! let me know what you wind up doing so I can steal your idea!! LOL

oops. sorry. . I need to make shutters for 2 of my windows next year (out of foam) and was looking for something that looked easy to duplicate. yours look like something I could make. The ones I have now were bought at the thrift store; 2 pairs for $2; and I doubt that I'll ever find a deal like that again.

Hi! Its nice to meet you - I'm also in the second year of prop building for Halloween, I really like the idea of the window boards. If I have time maybe I will give that a try. I was happy to find this website with other home haunters, it is really full of great ideas. It is nice to meet other halloweenies

OH...also...love the pumpkins. I think you had boarded windows from stryofoam...those are great. If you want to save money next time...I find old wooden fence slats on craigslist and use them...I will post some pics.
