oh wow,, you sound like my daughter, she is SO afraid of spiders! I am not afraid of most bugs, I catch them in glasses or something and put them outside , but wasps, ya can not do much with them but kill them, now them I am not afraid of but DO NOT LIKE! how did the doc go? get work clearance?? we had a good time, it was fun, but some of it they kept repeating, so near the end it got a bit boring, but still, met some nice people, found out the park we are hosting is doing a halloween weekend the same weekend as the park I go to for my big weekend ,am torn, I love all the people there,and how big it is, but would be cool to be on the ground floor of one and get it running right, would not be a host that weekend, but met the ones who are, and they don't do halloween at all,, so hummm how good will it be? but if I was a host, not any room to decorate with tall the things you need on your site for the hosts job, sigh,, oh well, this year will keep it the same, but maybe next year, we will see,, well, they accepted our offer for the house, so yay, we are buying a new house, one that needs a TON of work, will try to get some pics up tomorrow, have not worked on my contest guy, will try tomorrow to get his head done and the hands at least started! the body won't be too bad, need a toy of some kind to have the elf making,,, dollar store here we come!
oh my gosh. so we took some halloween up to the storage unit to store, and meant to get some stuff for a garage sale coming up, but were greeted by 2 wasps and 1 big fat spider. so we went back home and grabbed 2 bug sprays and 1 flyswatter. we then went back, and there were now 2 big spiders and still 2 wasps. we sprayed and the spiders and wasps dissappeared. then pretty soon we see a smaller spider, i sprayed and tried to swat him but missed. then we saw the grandaddy spider of them all. i sprayed, and he was covered, but he just started dropping. how can that small line they drop on hold such big boddies? anyway, he was a coming, and i was a spraying, and i got a good shot and smacked him, he got up, i smacked him, he started heading my way, and smoosh, then that's all it wrote. shivers. I HATE SPIDERS. all the years i've stored there, i've never seen spiders. especially to have that many spiders. yikes. so am i to take it there is a nest of spiders. i think i'm going to bomb the place.

Well, glad I made you laugh, but no, hands are not my strong suite, , wish they were, need to find my celluclay stuff , that will make the hands non flexable but will fill them out a bit! other wise will be skelly like, wish I could make some that keep the ability to move how I want them at a different time! have some vinyl gloves from work to use as a shape mold, will see how I like them, maybe stuff them and paint them to look real just for the contest seeing as I have such a short time! got his face painted but i need to add hair, used spray adhesive to his mustache, it was too frizzy and bushy, so tried that, other wise not sure what to use,
you make me laugh, your hands are not bad at all. i am excited to see what this guy looks like. i have pictures worked up in my head, but i'm sure they are nothing like what he's going to look like. sounds like you guys are going to have some fun. i miss the camping my daughter and i use to do, it was good times. i know there will be some work involved for you guys, but i think you should have fun.
well, then Poppy it is! did not work on it last night, my SIL called and she had her little grandson over, who I had not seen in a while, so went and played with the little guy, what a doll. one of the cutest babies I have ever seen, what fun I had! and then tonight have to make sure I am packed and ready, we are leaving at about 7 in the morning,( for the state park hosts training) but will try to paint his ears and look for the fur I want to use and put hair on him, want a mustache and scraggly beard, so hope to get that done, then the hand, not sure what to do about that, hmmm I don';t make good hands, but guess will just whip some ugly ones together, so to speak, no, have not talked with her much at all, just a brief pm,, hope all is well
i like the name poppy, it sounds perfect. i think your project will be cool. yeah, i want to see dark shadows too. okay, if you would just move closer, that would be great. say, aren't you looking for a house. you could buy mine. i could move to brit. we all would be closer. has the halloween lady been talking to you much lately? i haven't heard from her for awhile, at least not like she use to. i hope she is doing okay. i know she has been stressed lately.
I will try to get a sneak peak on, I know I have to hurry, only have a week! the worse part is going to doing a elfs clothes, don't exactly know what I am going to do, but will give it a shot, the clothes for the butler/caretaker are sorta easy, am going away Wednesday and coming home late Thursday. so 2 days sorta shot, want a cheap truck or something for the elf to hold, and maybe a paint brush, or maybe a doll or something, like he is making it, it will be a "old man " elf, so am thinking of a name, maybe Poppy the elf, sounds sorta like the spanish work for father/daddy, any other suggestions? that sounds cute, to put a scene for the trash man to pick up! LOL!! Yeah, saw the previews of Dark Shadows, it does look like it might be funny, but not played up as much as the Pirates movies,, I do want to see it,, I want to see it too, too bad we can;t go see it together!
you got a sneak peak? you got me real curious now. hey, pump it up bethie, may 1st is to close. i've been feeling better and better. i have a dr. appointment thurs, i sure hope the dr will release me. i'm bored, i hate sitting home. and it wouldn't have been so bad if i could have vacummed and mopped. all of it was taboo. i am so looking forward to going back. keep your fingers crossed for me. have you seen there is a new dark shadows movie coming out? they have johnny depp playing barnabus. i loved that soap when i was young, i hope the movie is good. johnny is a good actor, but i hope they don't make the movie silly. if he plays his character like in the pirates, which he was good in, it won't be suitable for this movie. willy wonka and alice he seemed to do the same straight faced, emotionless acting. i have a feeling it will be the same for this movie, i hope not. in todd sweeny it was close to the same acting, but a little more serious. well, i am for sure going to this movie when they release it. they have curbside in charles city, we picked up a broken little table, a basket, and a fake flower. we hope to find a doll or stuffed animal and a watering can. then we will set up a little scene in front of my sisters house. we'll have the character watering the empty basket, and the last day before trash pick up. we'll put the flower in the basket. lol.
