Have you ever heard of pinterest? it is a site where you "pin" ideas and things you like into different "boards, " example Halloween, Christmas, crafts, gardens, pets, etc. well in the Halloween section on my page, just wanted you to know I pinned your you tube 2011 haunt here, hope you don't mind, but it is one of my favorite haunts, and as far as campground, my fav!!
hi, BB,, thought I would check in,,, and see how it has been going with you,,, not much new here,, trying to fulfill my resolutions, but not doing super great... but oh well,,,,,,I see you got a comment about your raven from THL,,, I love it too,, but no way could I do it,, don't have the computer tech skills..... or the equipment for that matter.. will just do my beginner animation,, LOL!! have 3 shiatzu's to put to use,,, got a couple of ideas,,, but haven't done anything with it yet,,, saving it for the Haunt forum's prop challenge,,,, won't ever win,,,,but still, it gives me a boot in the butt to get going! well, hope all is well with you!!

oh, I can imagine, just what I do takes a lot of work and a long time to set up,,, so yours would take much longer, I am sure!! well, seeing as I don';t even know what you are talking about with the sensor,, I am better off trying to find a lightning machine! lol! thank you for the nice words on my witches, would like to keep improving them every year,,, make a better hut type thing, and yeah, would love to do a lab if I can get the site with the 2 sides to decorate, one would be the lab, and maybe werewolf/ and spider area.. and the back side would be the cemetery and witch area,,, I just want to keep improving at lease a bit every year!
Thanks Beth! We had fun for sure! But also worked hard! It really is much more work than it looks like. I'm glad you liked my tricycle guy, I originally wanted a pepper's ghost effect but couldn't figure a way to hide the scrim. Maybe that's something I can figure out by next year. The lighting effect could possibly be done with 2 strobes in trees opposite each other, using a PIR sensor. If they were both plugged into the same sensor they would go off at the same time. Then you'd just have to add the sound. But I would keep looking for one of the lighting machines they sold a couple years ago, it would be so much easier! Everybody really liked the lighting effect and at your campground it will be a nice addition. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your pictures. Your witches looked soooo cool! The addition of the tarp for a back drop made a nice room for for your witches potions. So next year will you be adding the mad scientist lab that you talked about?
well, BB, once again, I am in awe of your work,,,, fantastic as always,,,, I wish I could do just a small part of what you do,,, first of all, the lighting and fog, looked so great, and the storm/lightening, how did you do that?? I wish I could figure stuff out like that,,,, I am hoping to have a site next year with a front and a back to haunt,, so need to get busy now ,, I don't even know where to begin,,,,,, you rock, I seriously am in awe,,,,,,, hope you don't mind I once again posted it to my facebook page,,, and sent it to a friend I made at the campground, a Halloween/witch nut like me, been trying to get her here, but no luck so far,,well, just want to say how much I loved yoor haunt, love the little bike guy,,,, oh and the lady/skelly who says come back,,, so cool,,,, not that all of it isn't , just my favorites

Thanks Beth! I'm so glad you survived the weather, and had so much fun! Plus it's a good thing when everything actually works. It's very rewarding when people thank you for all your hard work, really makes it all worth it! I'll get a tutorial on the tricycle guy for you. I think your going to be very busy next year with 2 sides of your site to decorate!! Better start planning now! We're leaving in 2 days and I'm soooo excited! I don't know about you but I get so happy when I first see a new prop all set in it's new home in my haunt.
