  1. Hey LMBeth! Sorry I couldn't help myself. I was just thinking about you, I figured you'd be pretty busy now. My vacation was very relaxing. Good thing cause our next one will be lots of work. Were getting away next weekend for the 3 days. It will be nice to relax and not worry about finishing things up. I would like to see your witches, I'm sure you'll figure out picture thing soon. That's not all you did I seem to remember a very cool reaper! So have you figured everything out for your set up yet?
  2. hi!! how's it going? have a good vacation? we are going back out after labor day for a bit, love it that time of year, actually we usually go the week after and there is hardly no on there, but am going a week early - hopefully have better weather! have pics I can't seem to get on here, not sure if it is my computer, or the new forum thing but it keeps coming up invalid. I have the witch head done, and re did the one that used to be green,, thats about all I have done, need to get so busy it isn't even funny, oh well. last minute Beth, that out to be my name!!!!!!
  3. thanks BB!! I might have to try to get some of the malibu, I actually found the screw in base ones on ebay but wasn't sure they would work, but good to know that he used them!!
  4. Hey Beth! Check out this thread for the answer to how much light the LED's we used gave out.

  5. I guess with the lighting, the main question I have is id you use a mix regular floods and led,s and how much light does the led's throw, near the floods? I mostly want to use less electric to add some animation with out blowing fuses!
  6. It makes me happy that you like him! He was built to be shared!

The coffin is the styrofoam one that's been around for a few years. You know the one with skeleton hands and chains wrapped around it. It was reinforced with wood inside and has a rotisserie motor to slowly rase the lid. We had chilled fog in it too but it must of run out when this picture was taken.

I can't believe you never saw my Madame Leota T/S. Her eyes move too. You can see her in my photobucket page. She's worth a peek.

I have 4 more days till my vacation. And boy am I counting them down!!! I just hope to have some time at home to work on some more T/S's. But the one thing I never seem to have enough time for is our routine. That's what's I'll be working on while on vacation. We have 2 new characters in our haunt and I would like to have them do more than just sing. That's probably the hardest part for me to do. I don't have the mind for writing comedy routines so I'm sure I'll end up keeping it simple.

I didn't get back to you about our lighting. Sorry I got side tracked. My husband put up a post in the props section about some of the lights we used. I could tell you how many of each type of light we used but your site will be different than ours so my needs will be different than yours. Keep in mind it took me a long time before I was happy myself. You just need a master plan. What look do you like most? Then keep that in mind when you make or purchase your lights. It will come together for you, you'll see.
  7. when you going on vacation?? have a great time, and be safe~
  8. hey BB, just wanted you to know I posted the video of your raven to my page on face book, I hop e you don't mind, but it is so amazing , couldn't help myself, as usual, I am in awe of your work, as stated before, you are my haunt hero!!!!

  9. yes, I can visualize it. it sounds like a good idea!! will see about it, like I said I do have some from my son, I might use them in the haunt and use them at home to store stuff, or I might just throw it in a garage sale and make them like yours.
I know I might of asked this before, but am thinking about it looking at your pictures. do you use both led and regular foods? and how many and do you use regular screw in type led bulbs? I so want to decrease the wattage usage , I got some cellophane in red green and purple and am going to try to make some pretty bright led flash lights colored with out wreaking them and see how they work by props, a experiment of sorts!!
  10. Ok, lets see if I can explain how to do this. You'll build the frame with 2 legs on each side and the back can be left open. If you cut the legs of the PVC and insert "T " joints, do this straight across the other leg on the same side. Then add the short piece of PVC. Then do this on the other side. Now you only have to lay a board across the small PVC strip for your 1st shelf. Make as many as you need. Then if you put velcro on the outside of the PVC you could use some wood molding to cover up the PVC. You don't even need to glue any of this. The you could put anything in the back of the frame even plain black fabric if you wanted. I don't know if your able to visualize this or not but I really think that you could have your shelves very inexpensive, light weight, portable with a quick take down and that requires minimum storage space.
