Thanks for birthday wishes

they are blonde brownies with peanuts and chocolate chips in them. they are yummy. my grandaughter kamina ate 2, and she usually doesn't like anything with peanuts. everyone else ate 1, they all said they were good. i ate 2, i really thought they were good.
yeah, my hubby use to be able to do a lot more than he can now too. kinda is tough. well, maybe things will work out yet. just don't take it if it's not a sure deal. be careful

oh bethie, i hope it works out for you, but only if it is a good deal. i hate to see you tied down to something that could really cause you a lot of grief. i'll keep my fingers crossed that it works out for the best. so how is your elf working out? are you going for it. i just got done making brownies. waiting for them to cool so i can have one. got from goodwill the gilligan islands tapes. 4 tapes, $4.00. been watching them. the lost pilots i've been watching 1st. the skipper, the howells, and gilligan are the same, but the professer, maryanne, and ginger are different. maybe because i'm use to the ones we watched, but they seem better than the ones i'm watching now.

Just had to stop in and get caught up on all the happenings!! You are AMAZING!!! How on earth are you juggling all the home stuff - the potential NEW HOME stuff AND getting ready for the camp trip?! Guess what? Looks like we will make a trip to MI again this summer!! After I get through all the stuff with my mom ( yes - ANOTHER surgery and I must travel again) and then a cool trip to a tropical island (St. Lucia) PLUS - I just took in a foster dog via a new program with the local SPCA. You gotta read my conversation with hallorenescene. It will fill you in. Toodles for now GF - and you know there is no better way to clean out a basement than to MOVE to another one!!! PS --- My visit with Meeps was SUPERBLY FUN!! I did take some pics and maybe I can upload them before I leave on my trip. Hope your Easter was egg-specially fun. bethene, that is great news. somehow i knew you would get it. i guess because of all that work. people don't like to do elbow grease. makes it comfortable for us that do. when my hubby and i moved to wyoming there was a house that some people bought, but they couldn't keep up with it's needs. they financialy lost it and it was somewhat run down, not because they purposely wrecked it, but because they couldn't make the repairs it needed. it sat empty for 6 years so it fell into more needed attention. we paid something like $69.000,00 for it. it was in the pretigious part of town. we lived there 5 years and put a lot of elbow grease into that house. then the time came when we needed to move back to iowa. we put it up for sale, and people would look at it and say, wow, you guys really made this look nice, it sure needed a lot of work. you guys really put a lot of work into this. then they would say, when this was up for sale before it was listed for $69,000.00, why should we pay more than that. hello, because we put all that work into it and it's nice now. they acknowledged we did a lot of work, but they couldn't get the fact that now it was worth more. we finally sold it for $98.000,00. i see you have 7 acreas. wow wow wow. that is going to be a dream. i am excited and happy for you. oh, and glad you got your campsite too.

We did go away for a few days last month to the northern part of Vermont. Stayed in this very old hotel that is said to be haunted (one of the reasons I picked that particular place), unfortunately we never saw anything but it would have been quite an experience if we did! We have a smaller secondary greenhouse we put up on Sunday, quite a chore in the wind but we got it done. Running out of space in the first greenhouse so had to do something, I'll be ready to see some of them go to new homes in another month or so.
