I see that it looks like you are about to get dumped on. I DON'T MISS IT! I was whining today as I took the trash out, about how friggin cold it was today... 55 degrees. But it was dark and had probably dropped to 40. I have really become a wimp. I am currently trying to motivate myself to get back on my weight loss program. I was doing really good until Halloween. Then I tanked and can't seem to find the umph to get back on track. I see that CC is on her treadmill!
Aaaarrrggghhhh!!!! As a reward for getting all the holiday crap packed away and as a sort of motivational "bribe" I bought myself some beautiful cut tulips. They are red/yellow mixed along with solid yellow ones. They are sooo pretty. They really made me smile. Tonight I sat and enjoyed them while I ate all my kids Valentines chocolates

well, the dr went good. i'll be getting a 6 week vacation. so you making your valentines this year? white stuff. we're supposed to be getting hit with a snow storm around midnight tonight. i hope not. it's terribly cold out for sure.

Well, how are your resolutions coming along? I'm going to nag you all year about them. j/k Back in the day, when I worked, it was hard finding time to exercise. So, I feel for ya. Plus, at work, I was on my feet for 10-12 hours. I figured that was my exercise. But for me, exercising now is easy especially since I don't do anything the rest of the day. I'll go for a 20 minute walk then have to rest (and eat) for 2 & 1/2 hours afterwards. lol
How's the house thingy coming along? haven't heard you mention it lately.

I FINISHED... Well almost. I got everything inside taken down, packed up and put away. Outside it's all down, packed up and in the garage. All I have to do is put the stuff in the storage racks. I even caught up on the laundry. Now if I could just loose 20 pounds of unwanted fat. how are you coming?

WOW!! I AM impressed!! You have already put things in totes!! I will get started on putting away the little bit of Christmas that I can tomorrow when hubby is back at work. I am so far behind on so much after a week away from home. But you have me inspired to be like artificial nails and Press On!!

I might take some before and after pics of the basement - if the dust doesn't cover the lense.

Oh - as for the Craig's list - hubby is having "basement cleaners remorse!" That is always the trouble. Once we dust things off and get a good look at them again - suddenly it's like Christmas! and he says "Gee - those don't look so bad after all.... maybe I can fix them and we can use them - and and and..." Well - you get the idea. This will be a bit more involved than I planned. I knew a woman who had to simply throw out and donate away everything from an overstuffed closet - including her hubby's bowling balls ( like 15 of them) It was years before he realized anything was gone!!

Maybe I will just order a dumpster one week when he is out of town.... hmmmm..... Well - thanks again for the encouragement re: valentines. I guess sometimes what they way is true - Love bites!

Hallow bethene!! I am back from another whirlwind trip to help my poor mom. "Getting older is not for sissies" is all I keep hearing in my head.... LOL
But I am home now - and got back on the Forum only to read all the ups and downs with the valentine exchange!! Man oh Man - things were really getting funky, eh? Hope my comments finally put everyone at ease. Sheesh - no good dead goes unpunished. But then you have experience with similar misunderstandings with the Reaper Exchange through the years.... If anyone would be compassionate it would be you!
So - guess what? We are starting to actually drag stuff UP from the basement and put it on Craig's List!! I am taking each corner of the basement and going through EVErythING - piece by dusty piece!! It will be my "winter hobby!"
Anyway - thanks for the positive vibe and standing up for me on the Vampy Valentine thread! Now back down to the dungeon I descend! BOO!

here's the hangman i did. i probably won't do it since it doesn't post scores anymore. i was having fun competing.

yeah, i hear you about hubby. it use to be that way here. but now i have the opposite. we both work different hours, and i never see him. wow! you got your Christmas put away, i am impressed. you keep going girl. yesterday i did nothing. today i am going to get my halloween blow molds put away. and the little Christmas i have out. i didn't go out all day yesterday. don't know what the weather was like. hope it's nice today when i go. i was playing halloween hangman, and always trying to beat my old score. i hadn't played for a couple of months. so i got sent home one day because i had to many hours, so i played. i also had the next day off. i got up to 1000 and lost. i started over and made it to 8000 and lost again on the same word. it was a new long word and i didn't know it. so i started over, i got to 18000. i beat my old score of 17000. i was so excited, but i found there is nowhere to post your scores anymore. they discontinued high score of the day, week, month, year, and overall. i just liked doing it so i could be on the board. bummer. there were some people on there that had 50,000.

i planned on doing things around the house today, but just lazed around instead. felt good though.
