sounds like you have been hit a lot harder than us. but probably because you're so close to the lakes. we've been having pretty nice weather here.
i still think it is exciting your son got to meet them. and lady gaga as well. i told my grandson about lady gaga....he said...huh hu. like he couldn't believe the luck. he really likes gaga.
i hear you about being broke. i made all of mine or there wouldn't have been a participation. the stamps cost enough.
still haven't heard about my surgery. they were supposed to call me last week, never did. i called them yesterday, they said they would call back. never did. i'm getting worried. at the end of my shift at work, i'm starting to feel a lot worn out. i get a back ache, and feel whoosy. i'm training in a new girl at work to take my place. i told her i want my job back when it's all said and done. i don't think i have to worry. at the end of the shift she was overwhelmed and ready to drop from exhaustion. just wait till she's on her own. i told her to bring paper tomorrow and take notes. so far, she's been a no show twice, and late everytime. boy, i hope they can count on her. the cook has to be dependable. i wasn't real sure, but i thought maybe i could smell a hint of beer on her breath. she showed up 1/2 hour late. and when we get our 1/2 hour break, she goes home and then comes back 5 min late. i wonder why she has to go home. she is the bosses daughters best friend. yikes, if she's a drinker and a friend, the boss is going to have a hard time. my boss is awesome, but she doesn't do well on confrontations.

i've been working on my valentines too. whew, a lot of work, huh? i'm sure whatever you write will be good. sorry you are having so much snow. seems last year we pretty much had the same amount. this year you have us beat hands down. we have some now, but not much. was nice out yesterday. cold, but not much. we've actually have had a good winter. it's freaking everyone out. that's good about your son. i agree, it's a good thing he checked. even though i like them and went to their games, i am not such a die hard i would recognize any of them. that is cool they are so nice. what is the dress code? did people know who they were, or were they able to mingle quietly? if a game ever comes again and i am able, i will go again. last time they didn't do the pictures. i was soooo dissappointed. i had hoped to get a picture everytime.

i'm, almost done making all my valentines. yeah, a lot are missing in action. skullie, lisa, heart, hooch, and many more. got a few new ones though. i can see them not asking for autographs. it would be no down time for them then. when we went the one year to see the trotters, there was supposed to be a rope holder at each corner to hold the lines, one corner rope holder was trying to get autographs and not holding her corner. people were about mobbing the trotter. she got yelled at. that is exciting he got to see lady gaga. she's pretty impressive. you had rain. that's not good. in this weather that's worse than snow. glad you drove slow. my hubby put his jeep in the field. right on through the ditch and into the field. he didn't get hurt, but it was several days before the tow truck could pull it out. he didn't get hurt, just a quick and rough ride.

Well did you get dumped on? We had a pretty large storm last night. Lots of rain and wind. But today is nice. I've got a few windows open airing out t he house. Hubby has been home sick the last couple of days. MAJOR WHINER! He is way too weak to even reach for the remote or a blanket! Men!

if i recall right, this is one of the shortest players, and the tallest player. they called him ... hightower. he was my fave. peewee was my grandsons favorite. to bad this wasn't a picture of peewee. i don't right off hand remember who this was of. my grandson is probably as tall as that shorter player now. maybe even taller.

lots of snow and cold here. hating it as much as you. 10 minutes late to work mon. got stuck in my driveway. the guy who plows hadn't plowed yet. it was plowed when i came home though. last night i hit a drift coming home. just did a little side dance, scared me a little. roads and snow don't mix, sucks. did you have fun at the b-day party? maybe wouldn't call it a complete shot day. still crossing fingers on the house for you. at the same time i wish you could find a house you like, and it be perfect for decorating too. i remember the pet days. and yeah, they are worth the money. i loved my pets a lot. i can see susie hanging out the window yelling hi in the wind as they breeze by. i bet she is a riot. my daughter is impressed with my valentine. she is making me make her one. and i made an extra to keep. hope you guys like them. so now, stick with your stickers and get them stuck. lol. wow, i didn't know your son was so tall. that's cool he got to talk to the trotters. not all were as tall, but some were a good 7' tall. they have come here twice, i made it both times. your son is going to have to start wearing a tshirt just for signatures of famous people.

LOL LOL!! I KNEW IT!! We never got near Jenison, but I was sooo thrilled when we passed the town of Frankenmuth! I thought it was an homage to Frankenstein!! But noooo - I remember you were the one that introduced me to the Christmas store there! What a fun town!! Lat night - on the way home we ate at the Bavarian Inn and took pics of the walls and the inside of the restaurant. Man - the FOOD was over the top!! we only placed an order for one of us - thinking we would share a "2 piece: chicken plate. They brought an entire banquet for us!! There was enough food for a family of 500!! And just when we thought it was over - out came the ice cream!! OMG - I am sooo stuffed today STILL! LOL

The trip was a whirlwind consulting gig that MysterE has been asked to help work on. We literally drove up and home with just one overnight - sheesh! 8 hours each way! And on the heels of our marathon drive to my Mom's in Florida just last week. Now we go on to Chicago day after tomorrow! The basement will NEVER get done this way. My brain is so road fried!

I did toy with the idea of telling hubby I MUST make a side trip - but we checked the GPS and a visit your way would have added 2 1/2 hours to our trip.... I was truly bummed. BUT the good news we will most likely be returning in the spring since I would LOVEE to visit Traverse City and Holland MI. (I lived in that region - Lansing, there for a time when I was a toddler. That is where I lost my tonsils. Been looking for them ever since!)

Still - I did wave to you and sent a big hug on the wind. We just missed the ice storm when we passed through Cadillac - then on to Interlochen. What a beautiful drive! Next time for sure GF - next time. I'll bring the cookies - you brew the tea!

It is so cold and winter makes me feel like hibernating. I think i am losing my mind - turns out I am just eating it!

Heading North tomorrow! Up to Michigan to Interlochen! Will I pass you?
I hope the Weatherman and Mother Nature go out on a date and have a grand time so we can avoid a major snow storm en route. Guess you already got the first storms. Mr. Weatherman should have taken Mother Nature to the Bahamas first. She would never want to dump snow on any of us after that!

I hate exercise. I keep telling myself that with a fused spine, fibro, and rheumatoid arthritis it is impossible. Not to mention I'm pretty sure I need a new knee. BUT... I know those are bad excuses and that if I could get motivated and actually stay with it, I'd feel a lot better. Like I said, I hate exercise!
