no, not my knees. it's in my upper area. way upper area. but it can't be that serious, they didn't tell me i couldn't work. and they didn't tell me to fast the day before. i'm going to be so happy when i get this done. as far as your knees, it probably is the job. i guess knee replacements work good for those that need them. do you realize by the time one retires, they are worn out and broke down from working. sucks.

oh, sorry about the snow. and good luck on it melting. ours has been here since i told you about it.
last year i never decorated. need to this year. so far i've only put out my blow molds. just never seems time. need to Christmas shop too. i just don't have money. sorry you're not into it. hope you have a good one.
you must be tough. i'd have already filtered my house. i'm such a weinie.
i hear you about the feet and knees. my feet and knees ache, and sometimes swell
so a few months ago i went to the dr because i didn't feel right. she couldn't find anything. so i've been feeling funnier. my daughter looked up on the net drs that specialize in what i think ails me. so i called the dr that she found and told her how i feel. she told me what she thought was wrong, said it was an easy fix. so i went in wed to get fixed. lol. doesn't that sound funny. it was what she thought it was, but more serious than she realized. i go back this coming wed for surgery. it's still not real serious because it's just 2 hour surgery and then they send me home. but i can't work for 2 weeks. yikes. after my hubby had his heart attack they told him he couldn't lift heavy things. so i tried to carry a heavy door. i felt like something inside ripped. and i pulled my shoulders out. had to have a bone cracker dr put those back in. and was told not to lift heavy again. now whatever i ripped has been slowly shining through.

P.S. Go to Kayak.com and try checking on flights for your daughter on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. You may be surprised at the discounts that are starting to pop up. Many airlines wait until the week or two before a holiday to offer some real deals. I have had to arrange flights for our kids through the years - and we have had good success finding real deals on that website. If you need more info - or want me to check into flights - let me know where they are flying from and what airports are near you as well. I may be able to find some deals. Maybe a neighbor could pet sit for them too to help save some $$. Just a thought. Well - I'll butt out now. I am a nosey lurker today for some reason....

Hallow bethene! Just had to check in on my GF's to lurk over the great news and conversation you and hallorenescene are having. Hallo is so lucky those drivers didn't get tangled up with her too! And I agree that house (basement?) dust is at the root of all my migrains and allergy troubles. Had a doctor tell me I had to get rid of all our pets. Could NEVER do that! SO we suffer for those we love...LOL We lost another kitty the Monday before Thanksgiving. She was almost 18 years old. We held her as she took her last breath. So sad - but happy we gave her a good home all those eyars. Now we are down to a Golden ( that replaced the dog we lost in 2009....) and two cats. Hair is EVERYWHERE so it is my daily task to vacuum and dust. I should have stock in Swiffer! LOL I battle my share of respiratory infection complete with sinus headaches, etc. Lotsa fun...yuck. But it made my voice real deep and raspy so all the VO's I recorded yesterday for the radio stations sound like an ad for a 900 hot line - if you know what I mean. Move over Jessica Rabbit! LOL ANYWAY - I read that you are also house hunting like hallo. I sure wish you both the best. But you know - home is where the heart is. So we can always be happy knowing that we make a house a home wherever we are. And congrats on the bonus too!! Well - that's all for now. Back to my bottle of antibiotics and Mucinex-D. Gotta love pharmaceuticals! Hot tea with honey and lemon helps too. Oh - and one more thing. Look into a Honeywell Air Cleaner with TRUE HEPA filter (not the "HEPA-like" versions). I got one at Target that is portable and works great. It really helps keep the dust and dander down that is floating in the air and it captures other viruses, etc I carry it with me from room to room all day long. Maybe Santa will bring me another one for Christmas so I can keep my little office in the back clean and dust free. Oh - then there's the basement of course. Until next time-BOO!

i use to work at a factory, and they didn't give us any bonus. but they would lay us off for two weeks with full unemployment. they would even fill the paperwork out for us. i thought that was pretty nice. that sucks you don't get much. some of the girls here that have worked longer than me won't get as much as me. they give so much per day you worked. they might have been here longer by months, but not put in more days.
i hear you about the cold. i always turn my heat down while i'm gone to work. when i come home it's chilly in the house. takes about 20 min to heat up.
i don't know if it would be your cats. seems that wouldn't change according to seasons. unless you let them out more in the summer. be interesting if you move and your sinuses clear up. i bought a table top air cleaner for my beauty shop to run while i gave perms. it really helped cut the perm smells down.

    oh bethie, $150.00 is awesome.
oh, sorry your daughter can't make it home. that's a lot of money. to bad about your son. at least he has a job. just never seems to be enough money for any of us.
snow, more snow, and even more snow. and then it's just friggin cold.
glad your hubby healed finally. boy did he have a long haul. i hope it stays good too. so isn't there anything you can do for your sinuses? what about an air purifyer for your house? sucks having headaches all the time.

ohhhh, the bank. well, i'm surprised. around here the banks just sell as is. so i'll get excited for you and hope you get it. and yeah, you always have the campground.
so how is your husband doing. did he ever heal all the way? how's your kids? will your daughter be making it home for Christmas? how's your sons job?
i've seen cars and trucks fly by too. and then i pass them sitting in the ditch. hope they learn something.
we've got lots of snow. a few light flurries again today, but for just a short time. last year i just made it through the winter financialy because i worked for lisa while she was on pregnancy leave. now since i'm full time i should be good. we get a Christmas bonus pretty soon. i can't believe it, but it is double this year. yeah! we get so much for each day we've worked since day one. some of the girls have been here so long they will get $600.00. wow could i use that. i can't remember how much mine was last year, so i have no idea what it will be. i've put in a lot of days though, so it should be at least $50.00. what ever it is will be appreciated.

isn't that something when they start painting a room, but can't afford the payment. this always amazes me. sounds like an ideal house, i want it. wow! you will have lots of room. and you never know, you may not get tot's, but you could get drive bys. i'm really gonna keep my fingers crossed for you. well, it snowed today. i drove 30 on the way home. i was behind a car, and had a car on my but t behind me. the car in front of me slowed a little, and i backed off more because i felt if i had to stop, i would have slid into her. we had a car fly past us going 55. is he crazy? the car in front of me hit a slick spot and did some side turns, but got it back before she did some complete turns. i slowed down even more and as soon as i hit where she lost it i could feel it was slippier. i managed to keep control because i was slower. all i could think is i sure am glad she was in front, because how close the car on my but t was, we would have both lost it and he would have hit me for sure. the idiot rode my but t the whole way. the car in front pulled into the gas station as did i. i told her nice driving. she said...were you worried with that idiot on your but t. YES! then she made comment about the car that flew past us. hope he has a cell phone because he's gonna need it. i added that i hope they don't get hurt. glad to be home. i had my heat down. just keeping warm till the house warms up

thanks, i had a wonderful day. and you are a good friend. and thanks for the thought of sending a card. also, glad you liked the card. i thought the kitty one was you too. and as for my hubby, you're right, there's only been 3 times he wanted to go to the dr, this time, one time when he couldn't catch his breath, and when he had his first heart attack. now about the house, i haven't had much in the way of response, i even think about taking it off the market. i have a bid in on a house with a contingency, and it's up the end of this month. well, they're saying snow storm over the weekend. it's been very very cold lately. we did have a hint of snow yesterday, but today there was nothing to show of it. i am so not wanting winter. i did get today the last bit of my foundation painted. it was cold doing it. man was i working fast. it got a little dark before i got done, so i hope in the light tomorrow it looks good. otherwise i'll be back out there. well, maybe for the new year you will find that dream house. hey, do you remember my sister who's boyfriend broke his neck and back last summer? well, he is doing well. he and my sister were together about 15 years before he gave her an engagement ring. it's probably been another fifteen years since then. i got an email from her this week, she and mike finally tied the knot officially. how cool is that?
