I think our weather is sounding the same! A thaw in store after tons of snow and minus wind chill factors- walked the dogs 4 miles 2day still hard to tromp thru- can't imagine how anyone lived thru war in days of old- or childbirth - or lots of things-??? We used to live in the mts of North Carolina , in a log cabin- no neighbors overlooking a national pk- the weather there was damn near perfect- amazing seasons never 2 cold lots of sun. Here we have gray for 4 mos- what do u think of glass eyes? I'm just not sure my eyes look good enough- but glass eyes always look fakey 2- I read a how 2 on eyes- it says don't use white use grays- hmnn have u ever found a "flesh" color paint u where happy with? I just don't know it's the virgo perfectionist again- might b why RBW is a gamer------
Good afternoon Victoria. Well..My days of dodging bullets are well and truly over, even if they are flying at me on a TV screen!! I much prefer to sit in a comfy chair with a glass of rum and send others to do my dirty work for me... All good practice for when I eventually assemble my undead army to conquer the accursed daywalkers....Mwaa Haa Haa Haaaaa!!!: Seriously though, it would be great to link up with RBW on something like that...I'm sure we would have a great laugh (and probably become rather drunk in the process). Well..things are starting to thaw out a bit here. everythings all wet and slushy now and there's heavy rain forecast over the weekend, so after being frozen it now sounds as though we are going to be drowned. what is it with men and war???? LOL I just had a customer ask me to make a General Lee Life size- I found a site that makes great MILITARY clothes- I do sew but I think the coat and hat need to be right I USED to believe in a fairy tale unicorn world but sadly I'm seeing reality- oh well we can still believe in santa and the easter bunny got an order 2day for 4 life size bunnies!!! 2morrow is supposed to have sun and b above freezing-- get out the shorts! just thought it would b fun if u and rbw could chat and kill 2gether!
Good evening Victoria. I'm not really much of a gamer..I don't own an X Box or anything similar, although I do enjoy playing historical battle re-enactments on my PC. I'm a bit of a military history buff and seeing as I never got to be a General during my military service, I like to do it now from the comfort of my living room!! My favourite periods are The American Civil War and The Napoleonic Wars. I do understand RBW's love of games, though...Some days you just want to blow the c**p out of somebody!! Good Morning Victoria. Always a pleasure to hear from you. A Very Happy, Healthy and prosperous New year from England!! We've had our share of the cold weather here in the UK lately, too. Temperatures have been down in the minus figures for the best part of 2 weeks now. We've also had some snow, which is fairly unusual for the part of the country where I live...nothing near the 10" you've had in Ohio though! Still, I suppose it keeps RBW out of mischief and earning those $$$!! Glad to know you're doing well with the Santa figures. It sounds as though you've got quite a thriving little business going there! I've had a couple of orders for my Movie Monster figures..I'm just finishing off a "Creature From The Black Lagoon" for one customer and I have a Lady who has just commissioned me to make a figure of Brandon Lee as "The Crow" for her son's birthday. I should have some pics of The Creature in my "Movie Monsters" album later this week. I enjoyed looking at the new pic's in your Halloween Costumes and Parties Album.. Some great creative work there! Happy New Year from snowy Ohio- we have about 10" and more coming- grey skies- yuck- been very busy making santas , sold about 40 this yr and still have orders, sent one to Germany! postage wasn't too bad- $137 priorty mail took it from dec 27th till 2day 2 get there- RBW says Hi- he is overseeing snow removal- so he is making $$$ yeah and playing that damn xbox all the time - a 47 yr old kid Victoria
Ours was ??? ok- 3 weddings and 2 funerals same day as our party- cut the # down alot- so nxt yr we have it on Halloween nxt yr we r renting our old grade school - it's kindof run down- has a stage for our party we went out again halloween nite- won 1st place- got drunk had fun pretended 2 b 18 again- headache nxt day!!!!had about 350 trick or treaters- I was a dalmatian for that- some kids where afraid to take candy from me!!!! 2 funny how was yours? I'm still exhausted from Halloween, Haven't completely finished packing away yet and tonight we've been doing our annual Guy Fawkes night firework display for the local children..
