    Good morning!
I was actually born in England but we moved to Canada when I was 2. First we lived in Montreal, then we lived in Ontario for awhile (ottawa & orleans). But most of the time was spent living in New Brunswick. I've been in Georgia now for almost 12 years. My husband was born and raised here so I guess I'm not going anywhere anytime soon! My baby boy was actually born in the same hospital as my husband. LOL

Oh Ya! lots-o-damage! the witch room collasped totally along with the photo op canopy and a few other issues. But my husband ,my brother and my friend got everything back together tonight. Now I have to go decorate like a mad woman tomorrow afternoon. On the brighter side we have put thru about 700 people so far. I expect it will be pretty busy thursday night! It should go without saying halloween is going to be a mad house. Did you say you don t have a haunt of your own? do ya wanna come over and be a scareactor for a few hours? the more the merrier . I have a few little kids helping and all of my family and a few friends also acting for me. But if your not up to it, no probs. But at any rate I hope youll come by and check it out. Its a bit different tan last year. Plus there is going to be snow piles around! I have to go out in the afternoon and see if I can get rid of some of the snow tomorrow.. well gotta go. I Hope to see you. if you come out... I hope we git cha good! remember my motto, 'no mercy after 7' barb

    Hi

I can't wait to see your masks when they are done! Post piccies! I have nearly finished my hats....luckily the weather here has been unseasonally warm the last week or so and I have managed to get them dry quite quickly by leaving them in the sun! Only the pumpkins left to finish now.

I don't normally have a problem getting hold of real pumpkins. They do sell them in our supermarkets although they are normally quite expensive considering the size of them (normally quite tiny!) but my Mums best friends Husband works at a local farm and every year he manages to get us some really huge ones (Cinderella Pumkin size) for a very reasonable cost. It is also easier getting them from the farm as you can drive the car straight there and load them straight into the boot/trunk! Last year we had 25 of them and what made them really unusual was, we had particualry bad weather in the months leading up to Halloween, and they did not ripen as they should have, so they were a mixture of green and orange. The farmer said that he was having trouble selling the odd coloured ones so we could have as many as we wanted. We had such fun carving them! I have a couple of pictures somewhere...I will post them on here so you can see. After our party, a local childrens home where my Brother in Law works had them for their party too....so they really were worth all the effort. Loads of people got to enjoy them!

He He He! It's funny you should say that.....no one would eat it as they said it looked too realistic...I enjoyed it though

The witches hats are the ones in my pictures sitting on top of the wall units, picked the idea up from a wonderful website called The dead End. They don't take too much to make...just the time for the paper mache to dry, but they look quite effective and of course they are cheap! What type of masks do you make?
