It's true. I had a roommate who worked at Home Depot and they don't give discounts to employees. Lowe's only gives 10%, but I guess that's better than nothing.
I was on a flight Sunday with someone who worked at Home Depot. He told me there is no 5% or 10% employee discount??? I can't fathom that. Isn't that the whole reason people want to work there? Of course in this economy they don't need to offer many employee perks.
