It's very nice to meet you! We love it here! I saw you have a hayride. Is it open to the public? My husband and I would love to see it if that is the case. By the way, you may be able to help since you've lived here a while, is there anything we HAVE to do in Charleston this season? We really have no plans for Halloween night. Any suggestions?
Hey Mach, I am sorry to hear about your grandfather. So glad he is doing better now. will keep you & your family in our prayers. Cathy

Look in my album called glass coffin for soem pcitures of the routs, plexi glass and general picture of the coffin
Cut Plexi Glass per illustration (My local Lowes store has a cutting booth) I bought 2 36x36 in pieces and 1 9x18 in piece.
After that I winged it with 5 96” 2x2’s. As you can see from the pictures below that the top had to have two “rout’s” and the bottom only has one. I used a table saw set to ¼ inch depth and ran the wood through it.
4 75.5" pieces Top and bottom pieces
6 9" pieces Side Support pieces, two on each end and two in the middle
5 19" pieces 4 on each end and one on the top middle.
I then used a piece of thin ply wood to make a removable bottom. Cut the plywood to the same size as the coffin and then nailed spare 2x2’s onto the bottom so the actual coffin would slid neatly onto the bottom frame. After that I added cheap fabric on the bottom, laid a corpse on it, added lights and sounds and then placed the coffin on the bottom piece. Keep posting questions if you need to since I know this is rather vague.
