hello everyone.
i am glad to find a forum for those that celebrate halloween (samhain, call it what you will...) 365 days a year, like myself.
i always get a nervous excitement, which really begins to build in august. as i see it, summer is just something i have to endure to get to autumn and HALLOWEEN! but, with it already being 10/11, i am feeling the familiar sadness beginning to creep in... i'm always sad when halloween passes.
i hope that doesn't sound odd.
this is the first year that i have grown my own pumpkins and i am pleased to say that i did have some success!
i have been in to halloween, and the likewise/otherwise spooky for many, many years.
while i do enjoy blood, gore, and a good scare, i also enjoy the classy side, as well as the history to the holiday.
as i could continue with my introduction for a lengthy dissertation, i will conclude now.
it is a pleasure to meet everyone. i look forward to exploring this forum!

thanks for the welcomes!
The Living Dead and the dying living are all the same. Cut from the same cloth. But disposing of dead people is a public service, whereas you're in all sorts of trouble if you kill someone while they're still alive. -Francesco Dellamorte, "Cemetery Man"
