Well, I'm obviously a new member, since I'm posting here. I'm an army wife with two heathen spawn, whom I love very much. they're great little demons with a sick and twisted sense of humor just like me. I've been in a HUGNOURMOUS Halloween craze the past three weeks, and as much as it annoys my husband, have been putting up all of my creations before October. I figure you guys understand that. lol. I found this site while I was trying to figure out how to make some stuff, and fell in love while I was browsing your tutorials. I was looking up how to make a ground breaker (didn't realize it was called that. I was just calling it my decomposed torso )via paper mache, and while it's only half done, he's coming along nicely. Prior to discovering this site, I also made a grim reaper out of a broom stick, a branch, a mannequin head painted black with a skull mask painted and glued to the front and a dyed black/gray bed sheet with creepy cloth draped over him. And alot of wire and (not proud to admit I threw a fit when he started to fall apart when it got windy) duct tape. Bright purple duct tape. Oh and some skeleton hands stolen from my bag o bones.
I've also made a couple baby parts ala mode in a jar, which is creepy in itself, as well as a not so scary ghost from another bed sheet ( got two at a thrift shop for 3$ and just dyed one black for my reaper.)

that was a lot longer than I thought it would be. Sorry about that. I've always been a crafty sort, painting and sculpting small things, but this is the first year that I've been making my own Halloween decorations, and I'm really proud of myself. I will post pictures of my stuff as soon as I figure out how to do that.

Idle hands are the devils plaything...(which is nice, I'm finally being left alone... long story... lol). Happy to see you're keeping busy with all your "creating". And having 2 little demons of your own gives you a nice little head start on the holiday .I have to rent mine (another long story). But all kidding aside, WELCOME to the forum.
