Greetings fellow haunters

I am Tamara from Kentucky. I enjoy creating yard haunts and halloween decos for many years. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday.
I am a big fan of spiders and haven't started my decorating yet due to the fact "Susie" made a home on my front porch. Susie is a beautiful writing spider. I have put off decorating early until Susie decides it is time to go. Writing spiders commonly die when the weather turns cold. The weather has been warmer than usual here so I may have to decorate around Susie. lol
I enjoy being creative and coming up with unique yard haunts/decos.
I like to think of unique costumes for the kids. I am a big fan of doing things the cheapest way possible. I haven't gotten into the creative techniques of lighting and effects and mobile props just yet due to lack of funds but my static props are usually pretty good.

I just joined recently as well and thought I would say Hi and welcome and hopefully you get to decorate soon but it is nice you are letting 'susie' stick around for awhile. Can't wait to get my house decorated as well...I'm thinking this weekend if the weather is good. At the very least to pull out the boxes and tubs and create a game plan to decorate

I need to go through my tubs too. The kids really want to help me this year. I usually do it alone because I am picky but I am gonna try to let them help for once. lol Nice to meet you.

I'm the same way...I'm sort of(Well ok mostly) obsessive about my Halloween props and decor but the kids want to help out and I don't want to rain on their enthusiasm and love for Halloween.
