Hello all, and let me just say how excited I am to have found a Halloween forum!

My pen name is Renasance and I choose to go by that and not my real name, though feel free to call me Ren if you like. I'm eighteen, a female, and I live in a small town (that I despise) in Georgia.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, and that's probably because my birthday is two weeks before it every year. Not to mention all of my parties as a little wee one were Halloween or pumpkin themed. And my parents made it a big thing to take me trick-or-treating (on up till last year, hah!).

I am considered a reject by all of the narrow-minded rednecks here since I try to make it a point to act like Halloween is every day not just October 31st (the Halloween decorations that in my room year round, the fact I dress in what most consider a 'Goth' fashion, my fascination with paranormal stuff, ect) and once you hit like..twelve they get extremely stingy with candy.

I am more into the goth/rock scene. I listen to bands like HIM, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, SOAD, ect. I also dress in pretty much as much black as my parents will stand at once. I'm an only child, though I have four 'furry' sisters ranging in size from a retriever/spaniel mix all the way to a Pekingese. I still live at home and plan to do so as long as possible since I am in no way a people person. I have no offline friends, and don't care for romance (see, I AM weird, haha!), so again, reject by standards here.

Well, guess that's all you need to know. And forgive me for the cheesy Rocky Horror Picture Show reference in the title, it's just my favorite movie.
