Hi! I´m a new member, and this is my very first post. Or actually, I signed up last year some time before Halloween but just read the forum and your amazing recipes, tutorials and tips. This year I encouraged myself and thought about actually taking part to discussions here. (:
I´ll tell u a little bit about myself - I´m a blonde girl, 22 years old living in Finland. I live in a little apartment with my boyfriend in a center of a little town. We are soon going to start to find our own place somewhere in the country. Until that I have just admire your yard decorations because currently we just have a little balcony! I study in University and have one cat and a bunny.
It´s so nice that I found this forum, I get so much inspiration from here. In Finland Halloween is not a big thing, and it´s harder to find tips for crafts and props let alone find any cool stuff from stores and shops! Happily during last three-two years improvement has been made and here are even Halloween parties in peoples houses, bars and night clubs.
Oh, I almost wrote a novel here... Haha. I´ll stop now so u won´t be bored. I´m looking forward to join the discussions and all the fun here. (:
ps. Sorry if my english is a little bad! And in my profile picture is me with a face painting I did on my face two Halloweens ago. (:

Thanks for welcoming me all! (:
jdubbya - Yes, Halloween is catching on year after year. I have been celebrating it every year since I was in elementary school and I remember those times as something when Halloween was not even noticed here. Only me and my friend dressed up (I was always a devil and she was a witch) and we walked everywhere in town with those costumes on. People just stared
Now many shops are starting to offer Halloween season stuff - plastic bats and skeletons, halloweeny lanterns and candles and tableware. Small things. And as I said, night clubs and bars and also some people (like me
) have Halloween parties with decorations and costume contests. So its improving. JBfromBS - I hope I can help with halloween getting bigger here!
