I just learned of this forum the other day and am so glad I did! I'm a yard haunter who is going to try his hand at a charity haunt this year to raise money for the Humane Society. I've been haunting for about 10 years and was featured on Fearnet's Route 666: America's Scariest Home Haunts (although mine isn't overtly scary).
I have a blog, Mr. Macabre's Hallowe'en Cerebrations, in which I address the daily life and trials of a Hallowe'en addict.
Here's to a wonderful 2010 Hallowe'en season, y'all!

Welcome mr macabre!!! I so enjoyed your blog! I was intrigued and fully immersed in your description of your Halloween as a child! Love your humor and glad that you found your way here. How nice of you to do a charity haunt.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before

Where are you in Alabama, I've only been here for about 9 years and still don't know all the towns. I'd love to make a trip to see your haunt.

I'm in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area (west central Alabama). There's painfully few haunters here that I have found.
