Greetings all,
I am a 25 year old Halloween enthusiast from South Australia. I like gothic and Victorian gothic decor and it’s pretty much Halloween here year round in that respect. I’m interested in the arts (including Painting, Drawing, Film Making, Acting, Crafts, Writing Lyrics, Poems and Stories and making music) and find this forum inspiring.

I celebrate Halloween with an annual yard haunt, decorating, costumes, baking, movie nights, and a party. We first started decorating for Halloween a few years ago with only some streamers, then we decorated the entrance and then a couple years later we made a modest cemetery in the front yard. There were mixed reactions to someone digging up their front yard with a shovel and putting gravestones there but the neighbours have more or less gotten used to it (I think…lol).

Our yard haunt has grown over the years to include moving props, sound effects, lights and a fog machine. We are the only yard haunt in the area that I’m aware of but I’m still hoping it catches on soon. I don’t know many Halloween enthusiasts here, not really any, so it’s nice to have a place like this forum for Halloween discussions.
