hello my name is Ronda
i have always loved halloween and anything horror/spooky/mythic related.
i haven't done much of anything but hand out candy until the past two years. i decided since we dont get many trick or treaters even though we live in a city, i wanted to do something about it.
i set out the first year to try to put out all of our little blow up things and whatnot and to carve a dozen or so pumpkins with cool designs and tried my hand at some shading. i was hooked, people complimented on the pumpkins and set up. i was happy.
last year it was about 34 pumpkins between real and foam. i built a toe pincher coffin. i made white styrofoam tombstones. i took a wig head and made a corpse head and hands. my nieghbor made a walk through, more people came. it was good.
this year im making a groundbreaker.i made a lit sign. im trying to grow pumpkins(so not working this year lol). im making more tombstones with pink foam. also im making a simple sign pole. i have a strobe light im going to put in my moms (cop looking) car like sort of crime scene type of thing. i have fencing to work on. i think i im going to make my nephew be part of the display and scare people again lol. i want to put saigns out on the road advertising so speak, of our attractions.
i had people remember my pumpkins and setup from the last year and new people. i even had some people taking pics. it made me that much warmer inside. it is my hope to get more people to come and get more houses involved
anyways after reading my life story i just wanted to come out to play with you very highly creative and wonderful people who are just as crazy as me and think halloween year round
