Hi, my name is Lisa and I've only been ~really~ decorating my yard for the past 2 years and granted it started out pretty cheesy, but I'm gradually adding more realistic / scary items. Thought this would be a good place to share ideas.
2 years ago I made a bunch of flat plywood headstones and painted goofy names like "Ded Fred" and "Barry D'Lyve" on them. Last year I made a full size toe-pincher coffin (that my 12 year old daughter fits in perfectly!).
This year I'm making 2 zombies with PVC skeletons. The girl will be holding her head in her hands (I have a head that the eyes light up and it screams & shakes when it senses motion) and her boyfriend will have a pumpkin head. I'm hoping to have enough PVC left over to make a half body to look like it's coming out of the ground, or maybe hanging over the fence. I also want to make a nice graveyard fence and maybe another coffin.
I'll post some pictures from the last couple years when I get home (I'm at work right now -)

Welcome to the forum!
There are quite a few Michigan members here!...somewhere in the north-woods darkness, a creature walks upright.
And the best advice you may ever get is never to go out…at night.

Hello and welcome fellow michiganian. Glad to have you aboard. Don't worry about starting cheesy, most people don't start at all. Glad to hear you are among the great haunters of the world.
