Hi everyone,

I'm Hylke Woudt, living in the Netherlands. Please don't judge me for my english, it's not my native language...
In the Netherlands Halloween is not a very popular event, but with some friends we're calibrating it for years, in our Rockcafe we have a special evening with halloween each year. For this evening we wil build all kinds of props, some with inspiration from the internet, some on own creativity. I usualy start thinking and building months before. I hope to learn lots from your post, and maybe I can help you as well.

I'm working in a electronicsshop and sell all kinds of lighteffects, audio, cables etc. Besides that I work in the technical area of shows, from bands to theatre.
I've got knowledge in DMX & electrics.

Your English is very good! There are few of us who could do so well in your native tongue, and many who live in English speaking countries whose spelling is MUCH worse (my hubby for example lol)!

Love the Dutch, we just spent a couple week-ends with friends who teach at ASH. Congrats on making the final and for finding the forum.
Our friends don't usually do Halloween in te traditional sense either. They throw a party but build obstacle courses and have various sporting events. I tried to convince them to make everyone wear a costume for the obstacle course. They're considering it.

haha well the dutch suck with Halloween..:P
