Hello from Omaha, Ne

Hello all,

I reside in Omaha and I have been a distant lurker for some time. I have learned so much from this forum. I consider myself fairly creative like most on here but this forum is a literal gold mine. I have always been into Halloween, even more so now that I have my own house and things have settled. Last year was my first Halloween in my home and I underestimated the amount of time that it would take to do things right so I ended up only having a internal decorated Heave and Hell party. So I have already started on this years theme and I feel like im already behind

My style is Dark realism. I do not go the Gore route and I prefer static props to animated, however I do not know how long that will last I have already had thoughts of subtle animation. But I love the idea of a creepy backstory to go along with my yard haunt which also carries inside my house for a party that I throw for friends. My halloween goal is to harness the energy that Fall brings and transport people into the middle of a dark story. I'm super excited to hopefully start contributing back to you all that have taught me so much already.

Some of the people I admire and have only fueled my knowledge and thirst for Halloween, Pumpkinrot, ScareFX, Devil's Chariot, Scourge, Dead Spider, Davis Graveyard, I know I am missing some so ill edit and update later. Thank you to you all and hopefully I will be able to contribute some substance to help others like you all have helped me.
