Hey everyone!!

I can't tell you guys how happy I am to have found such a Spooktacular place!!! I have been wanting to make my own decorations for the longest time. So, I searched youtube for some goul & tombstone making tutorials and one thing led to another and here I am!! Woo HOO!!!! I have started WAY too late this year but with only a couple of days left I am determined to get some stuff done. I have been in my garage the past week carving out tombstones from styro-foam which I know now is too thin but it will work for this Halloween. At least I got some practice. Also, I filled my PVC pipes last night to make some of those amazing flicker candles!! SWEET IDEA!!! Thanks soooo much for that!! I am sure by next Halloween I will have TONS made.

One of my FAVORITES here on this forum is the Beloved tombstone!! Absolutely amazing and I plan on making one of those too!! I have lot's of ideas swimming around in my creative brain!

After this post I am back in the garage! I have cut the pieces for my life sized goul. I am going to try to get at least 4 made for Saturday. I am going to use masks this year because there is not enough time to make the real deal heads. I am going to try and make some goul hands. I bought the last two 1/2 gallons at Spirit Halloween store a few days ago. I have a feeling liquid latex is going to be my new best friend... along with monster mud!!!!

I think I have FINALLY found my calling....... making scary gouls!!!

It sure sounds like you've caught the bug. It's the disease you never want to be cured from. Kind of like zombieism. Brains....brains.....BRAINS!

so how'd it go? you get some of those ghouls made? and if so of course you posted pictures. welcome aboard
