My first haunt...

I stumbled onto this site a couple days ago and haven't been able to leave since.

After 15 years of taking one or all of our 3 children out ToT-ing, it's time that I stayed home and handed out candy but I decided to jump right in and make my first year at home more than just opening my front door and handing out candy from a mixing bowl.

I came up with the idea of turning my garage into a haunted house and it's turned out fairly well for my first haunt. We decided that since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, that we'd set up the haunted garage and then have a party afterward to celebrate the holiday and my birthday at the same time.

This forum has been very helpful and fun to read and see everyone's contributions.
