Hey all, I'm glad I found this site for dedicated fellow Haunters.
i'm new to making animated props and will take any help / advise that's available. What can I do with a 2 horsepower motor to make a prop that can handle the tourque and power????
Obviously "cheap is good but free is better" that's how I got the motor.
Thanks

I am not sure I understand your question. Are you worried that the torque and power of the motor will damage the prop you are using it on? As long as there is no bind in your props mechanism the torque should not be an issue. If however the motor has too great a speed or your mechanism has the possibility of binding up on you that would be a problem as the 2hp motor will more than likely tear anything made of wood or pvc up. If you elaborate more I might be able to give you more accurate advise. Keith
