Hello everybody,
I'm Sascha and I live in Germany.
Since 2002 we have created our own home haunts (which is very very uncommon in Germany, but we are working on it)
I have also created several German websites to get more and more people to celebrate Halloween. There are actually many parties in nearly every city on Halloween, but most of them are just "parties on Halloween", not "halloween parties" if you know what I mean.
Maybe this will change in the future. There are already many people building their own home haunts - there's just so much more to learn from the US haunters
Greetings from Germany

I was in Germany back in 2002 and noticed that Halloween was not celebrated nearly has serious as here in the states, the thing that struck me strange was the poor quality of masks and costuming...Hopefully the retailers will pick up the ball and start importing a better quality of halloween prop selection, making it more desirable..... doesnt germany celebrate a halloween season for more than one day?

Thanks for the warm welcome

You can see some of our home haunt videos here:
Halloween Videos - Rezepte, Anleitungen und mehr von halloweenies.de
And yes, we're using some pneumatics as well
This year due to a birthday on Halloween in the family we won't have our own home haunt.
@HauntChaser: yes, you are right. Most of the masks you can see in shops have a really low quality - and it even got worse when WalMart discontinued its business in Germany.
Nowadays the only way to find good masks and costumes in most of the cities is online via a few good halloween stores.
@thegingerowl It's actually "Willkommen bei dem Forum" or rather "Willkommen im Forum" - thanks anyways
