    Hi,

My name is Ben. I'm from Thornton, PA-- about 30 minutes from Philadelphia, the home of cheese steaks and hoagies. I'm a chef and freelance food & travel writer. I write reviews of restaurants, travel destinations and attractions.

I recently visited The Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Bates has to be one of the best haunt attractions I've ever seen.

I'm a Halloween horror movie fan... I have about 40 movies on DVD, but my all time favorite is a spooky 70's flick called "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" -- It's everything a horror movie should be.

    Welcome! :]
People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.

Welcome! I enjoy horror movies too!

It was hard at first to find on DVD but I just love Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark with Kim Darby. A super great film considering it was a TV movie! Packs some real scares.
