Hi.
I'm Eric, but I go by Wolfbeard here. I am really happy to have found this forum. I have always loved Halloween and had my first yard haunt 30 years ago, at age 14. My mother had let me put a clothesline hook in my bedroom wall, so I could set up a clothesline operated ghost that I could make fly out of my window, across the car port and over the driveway and back into the room to scare trick or treaters. That was the final nail in the coffin of me becoming a home haunter. I was "hooked'" so to say.
I was the construction coordinator for a Big Brothers/Big Sisters Haunted House for many years and am now a coordinator for our Lion's Club Haunted Hayride. My wife and I also do a huge yard haunt for the 350 trick or treaters we usually get, plus we do a huge adult Halloween Party for our whole neighborhood. I really enjoy building props and putting a lot into our various projects. Our young daughters are really getting interested in the home haunting aspect, so they are making me very proud.
I don't post much on forums, but I'll do my best to contribute what I can and will always be respectful in my posts. I have been impressed by the quality of the props and ideas I have seen here. I have also been impressed by the civility of the posts. We all have our own approach to things and this forum is a great way to share ideas and resources. I look forward to learning and sharing from our combined experiences. There is no one right way to do everything, so seeing how different people approach haunting is why I'm here. Thanks again to our host for providing this forum
Enough blabbing for me now. Let's hear from you.

Mmmmmm. Brains....
I only had a few photos of past props handy today. Here's our entry in our neighborhood scarecrow contest for last year. Since we chose a pirate theme for our party last year, the scarecrow went along with the theme. We change themes every year. Feel free to browse my gallery for a few other props from last year.

Welcome Wolfie, so glad to have you darling!
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!
